Hey everyone 👋. It’s been a while…

From March 1st I will be taking on more yard work, Clipping, Holiday cover and much more!!

Yard work can be set days weekly. It can include turning out, bringing in, mucking out, hay nets, feeds and anything you really need done day to day 🪣🧹
I have a few regular clients that keep returning for my yard work services! I also have some lovely reviews and lots of references available!!

For clipping, I can do anything from a bib clip up to a full clip including legs! I have two clippers. I have my heavy duty clippers that are cordless and go through anything and then I have my small clippers that are also cordless and very quiet for touch ups but they will also do full clips!!! I am doing discounts if doing 3 or more horses on one yard 😊.
I also do tidy ups which can be, grooming, tail tidy, mane pull, hogging 🧽🪮

I am taking on holiday covers for this year too so do get booked in with plenty of notice to avoid disappointment. I’m happy to cover short holidays to long holidays, it’s not a problem. Your holiday will be much more relaxing knowing your 4 legged friends are happy at home in safe hands! 🥰☺️.

I will also be offering exercising horses. I am happy to do groundwork with any horse. This can be lunging, long reining, in-hand walking etc. I am happy to ride but I only do quiet horses 😅. Don’t mind odd spooks but I will not be riding anything that bucks, rears, bolts etc.

Hello 👋. Long time no speak. I really need to get into the habit of posting more 🫣. I’ve been so busy recently it just keeps slipping my mind.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas 🤶. I just want to say a big thank you to all my clients who has either got me a card or a small gift for Christmas. I appreciate you guys 💜.

List of my main services but if you have something else you need help with please don’t hesitate to message me!! ☺️

• Daily Yard Cover. ( This can be weekly or just as and when needed )

• Holiday Cover. ( This is a booking for 2+ days in a row )

• Exercising. ( This can involve ground work and ridden work - ridden work does involve a trial. Please be honest and tell me about any vices/ quirks, your horse may have. I’m a small, lightweight rider meaning I can help with the little ponies too 🙃 ).

• Clipping. ( Full clip with legs. Full clip without legs. Hunter clip. Trace clip. Irish clip. Bib clip )

• Competition groom. ( Basically includes all help needed on the day of competition. For example, loading/ unloading, grooming and tacking up. I can help the day before at extra cost with bathing and prepping )

I also have some availability left for Clipping. Wether that is just a bib clip to a full clip I can do it. I have cordless heavy duty clippers that can go through any type of coats! Discounted prices for 3+ horses on one yard 🐎.

About me 🙋‍♀️.

Hi I’m Abbie. I’m 19 years old. I started this Business a little over a year ago. I love all horses no matter how big or small. I have been around horses since 2019 and I have 3 horses of my own.
I used to volunteer at a riding school helping with daily jobs, lessons and just general care of the horses.
I also used to help out with the RDA helping with lessons

Meet my team. 🐎

Ebony.
Ebony is a 12 year old, Cob. She was my first pony. I got her in November 2021. She can be a little sassy at times but she has such a big heart for such a small pony. We enjoy a little bit of everything from Hacking and fun rides to Jumping and Flatwork.

Mr Bones.
B is a rescue, he is a 12 year old, ISH. He came to me in April. He is out of work due to having a lot of problems mentally and physically, I’m unsure if he will ever work again. He has had a very rough life. He is currently just enjoying being a companion, running around causing havoc and eating me out of house and home. We all love him though.

Bella.
Bella is my newest addition. She is a 14 year old thoroughbred who has also had a rough life. After having problems with ulcers she is now doing her rehab to come back into work. She is a very sweet mare who loves lots of attention.

About my Business.

Here at AC Equine I cover everything from Poo picking your field, to holiday cover, to cleaning tack. If you need it, I do it.

I cover Workington, Cockermouth, Wigton, aspatria, Maryport and surrounding areas. Fuel may be added if over a certain amount of miles.

Duke had a mane pull today and a Hunter clip yesterday ✂️. How good does he look?! 🤩. We done him over two days, as Duke is a rather busy pony and gets bored after standing for a while, he definitely is a cheeky character 🤪.

Clipping is by far my most popular service ✂️
I have been clipping for some time now with clients that keep returning all year round. 🤭
All clips now include a thorough groom before and post clip wash afterwards!! 😌
I offer clipping all year round, i also have quiet clippers for nervous and young horses 🐴. Both sets of clippers are cordless!! Pm me for more information. 🥕

I’ve had a rather Busy couple weeks, looking after lots of different horses!!
Bob, Tipsy, keith, Roo and Indi are regulars, i see them every Saturday and when there owners are away. ⭐️

Ebony was having a little walk on the lunge just gaining her fitness back slowly after a small accident a couple months ago. Ebony also had a Hunter clip and her feathers clipped off as she was getting sweaty coming back into work!! She is much more comfortable now. 💗

Fizz had a little body clip. She was so so fluffy. Fizz was a little bit nervous so i used my small quiet clippers with her and she was absolutely fine. 🤩.

From clipping a 17.1hh yesterday to clipping a 10hh shetland today! 🤭
Fizz had a little clip today to help with her cushings! How adorable does she look 😍.
Fizz was an angel to do, a little nervous at first but soon settled and quite enjoyed it. 😊.

Whisper also got a mane pull just to neaten up the ends ready for his next outing on Sunday. Isn’t he gorgeous 🥰.

A lovely Tidy up session tonight for Gulliver. What a superstar he was, standing for his clipping and Mane and forelock pulling 😍.

Clipping does take some time. I always like to go slow with my work to ensure that it leads to perfect 🤩. I have cordless clippers, so i can work where these is no Electricity ⚡️. I also have another set of cordless clippers that are very quiet and low vibration which is great for nervous horses or young horses 🐴
