Yesterday Olive got sick. She seemed to be drowsy, sedated and confused. It was at the end of a walk and I hadn’t seen anything happen to her on the walk. I rushed her to the vets and they put her on a drip for an hour to flush out any possible toxins. There’s no way to tell what happened. But she’s definitely a lot better today. She will be having a day off work today to rest and recover. It was so scary, but I’m glad I acted fast and got her to the vets. Better to be safe than sorry. She’s looking very sorry for herself in this pic, but she’s actually full of beans and I’m sure she won’t be happy to miss out on the walks today!

Todays walks were just so dreamy! It’s really nice to be able to take dogs on the beaches again now there’s fewer visitors. They dogs definitely appreciated it. We are so lucky to live here! 💚💚💚

Important things to remember as dog owners in this weather!

IT’S WAY TOO HOT FOR DOGS!! 🥵

To walk your dogs during the heatwave remember these three sensible rules:

*EARLY* only walk them in the morning before the day gets too hot. Or if you have to, late in the evening. But mornings are generally cooler.

*SHADY* take them to woodlands and shady areas, avoid open fields and the beach.

*WATER* make sure you walk near a decent water source like a river or lake so they can drink and swim or paddle to cool down.

Hello to all of our wonderful clients.

We have a very exciting announcement to make!

We are re-branding! We have a new name and logo, which we are very excited to share with you all. It is very close to our hearts and we’ve worked hard to get it just right and for the name to be something meaningful, and importantly, a Welsh name.

Without further ado, our new name is - ‘FFRINDIAU GORAU’

We chose this name for a few different reasons, the first being that we have been friends since we were in school together, so friends run the business. The second is that we really do believe that dogs are a human’s best friend! The third reason is that on our group walks we get the absolute joy of seeing many different dogs coming together and forming really beautiful friendships. We always do our best to make sure that these doggy best friends get grouped with each other as often as possible and it fills our hearts to see them playing together on our walks.

We hope you love the name as much as we do.



We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Aled Jones from the bottom of our hearts for designing such a beautiful logo for us and for his generosity.

We will be in touch soon to outline more important details of the re-brand.

Mi wnaethon ni ddewis yr enw am sawl reswm. Yn gyntaf mi rwyf I a Mali wedi bod yn ffrindiau ers ein dyddiau yn yr ysgol felly mae’r cwmni yn cael ei redeg gan ffrindiau. Yn ail mi rydum go wir yn coelio na cŵn yw ein ffrindiau gorau. Y trydydd rheswm yw ein bod, ar ein teithiau cerdded grŵp, yn cael y llawenydd llwyr o weld llawer o wahanol gŵn yn dod at ei gilydd ac yn ffurfio cyfeillgarwch hyfryd iawn. Rydyn ni bob amser yn gwneud ein gorau i sicrhau bod y ffrindiau gorau yma yn cael eu grwpio gyda’u gilydd mor aml a phosib ac mae’n llenwi ein calonnau i’w gweld yn chwarae gyda’u gilydd.

Mi rydum yn gobeithio eich bod yn caru’r enw gymaint a ni!

**ANNOUNCEMENT**

I'm sure many of you have noticed that our daily photo posts have been a bit sporadic lately. We are very sorry for this, but we've been having endless trouble trying to upload all the photos - our technology just cannot cope.

Because of this, we have decided to change the format of how we share the pictures of the walks.

From now on we will be posting pics from the walks on our Facebook stories instead of in a post! We will also be uploading more videos, so you can see more of the action! 😄

At the end of the week we will pic a few of the best shots of the and make a post of those. These will go up on our Instagram account too.

We hope this isn't too confusing, we are just getting our heads around it too 🙃
