Horses sense of smell is 50-100 stronger than humans.
Horses are sensitive despite their size. Use the same dosage for a horse as for a human. Less for pregnant mares & foals.
Essential oils do not build up in the systems like drugs can do; reapply as needed.
Avoid getting oils in eyes, flush with milk or wipe over with coconut oil if needed.
Avoid putting oils in ears, nostrils.
Apply oils with a carrier oil such as coconut oil.
Not every oil can be used with horses!
Remember doTERRA Essential Oils are very pure and concentrated.
They are 50 to 70 times stronger than herbs.
For example 1 drop of peppermint oil is equal to 28 cups of peppermint tea.
