2-3 week processing time for base staining. I require at least 25% down of globe price to begin working. 25% deposit is NONREFUNDABLE.

POLICY:
I do not accept returns.
If your globe arrives broken please message me as soon as possible with photos! I will make a claim with USPS.
I offer two refund options:
I can send you a replacement globe with 20% refund.
I can offer a full refund. This means I do not send a replacement globe. Refunds are sent once claim is accepted by USPS. This can take 1-4 weeks.

Sunglow Soft Mount.
Face Mounted by Nelsons Wildlife Artistry. Little less than a year old pelt.
He has body wiring but can't hold himself up. Tail also has a wire and can be posed. He can hold himself up if held in your arms. (doesn't flop) He has a foot that's a little twisted but you can't see it unless you really look for it. He can be opened up for new wires if needed.

Tempting to stain globe bases... You can definitely tell this was hand done by the minor flaws. Is that a good or bad thing? I'll let you decide! 😆 No clear coat yet.
Lots and LOTS of love and labor went into this base. The base was already finished with a acrylic coating that soaks deep into the wood. So not only did I have to use a varnish stripper, but I had to do 2 days worth of hand sanding!
I hope to offer base staining soon to those who request it. I just need to figure out a processing time that's not too long.
What do you think? Do you prefer the perfect factory look or the handmade look?

I can't believe I was able to fit this big girl into this globe! She is 4 feet long but a massive 3-1/2 inches WIDE! I really want to do something nice with the base. Perhaps I should try staining? 🤔

Hmm... I don't think these plastic globes are going to work out.
I got them as a cheaper alternative for those who are on a budget. Everyone deserves a nice globe! But these globes have flaws.
The base screws directly to the globe making it impossible to fill all the way. The base also has this little rubber peg that's removable (I guess to drain the globe?) and it tends to leak. Also, those seam lines.. 😖
So its back to the drawing board! I'm going to try my best to make these work.
