Karen Qualls has owned and operated Premier Performance Horses located in Chino Hills, California since 1986. Since that time, she's won multiple world and reserve world titles in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Riding, Western Pleasure, Trail, and Pleasure driving to name a few. Most recently she was APHA’s top pro exhibitor two years in a row in 2017 & 2018.
Karen has not only won titles, but coached many amateur and youth competitors to numerous world and reserve world titles, including several all-around world champions in the amateur, youth, and novice divisions.
As an all around competitor, it can be challenging to compete in numerous events with equal precision. Karen has the tools to teach you how to be competitive, and through her practice, you will gain confidence giving you the edge in the show ring.
Despite all her wins, her program is not just about winning but about being a better more educated and diverse rider. Karen teaches the rider arena strategies that often get overlooked. Frame, placement on the rail, utilizing space, and many other small changes help contribute to a better ride in the pen. She also teaches your horse the subtle cues it takes to articulate the maneuvers necessary for a flawless go.
Consistency and repetition is the key to successful riding in any discipline, and Karen is there to help you make sure you and your horse GET IT DONE!
