Please please please, when you’re looking for a joint supplement, look at the inactive ingredients as well and do your research!!!
This product claims to not have any artificial colours or flavours, which is kind of correct BUT it does contain 2 natural sugar sources!! Dogs don’t need sugar! And Di calcium phosphate can be used as a whitening agent to replace titanium dioxide.

You also pay £31.99 for this!!!

120 tablets for £31.99 or cut the cr@p (literally) and buy 120 scoops of KineticFlex for £14.99.

Honestly, you don’t have to buy our products, there are some others that are fantastic too, but if it’s in a tablet form, you are feeding unnecessary rubbish at what looks to be very inflated prices.

What are your top tips for keeping your pets cool in the heat?

Keeping your pets cool in the hot weather is essential for their wellbeing. Different pets have different heat tolerances, so consider their breed, age, and overall health when taking measures to keep them cool.

Here are a few of the things we do here at Mind the Paws to ensure our pets are kept comfortable and safe.

🐾 Have plenty of fresh water available at all times.
🐾 Make sure they have access to plenty of shaded areas, inside and out.
🐾 When the heat is extreme (remember different pets have different tolerances), only walk in the early morning, late evening or avoid walks altogether if necessary.
🐾 NEVER leave your pet in a hot car!
🐾 Paddling pools are great if your dogs enjoy the water, but try and keep them in a shade area of the garden.
🐾 There are some great cool mats and cool coats on the market. If you are using a cool coat, remember to keep it moistened with cool water. Do not let it dry out.
🐾 Groom regularly: Regular grooming helps remove excess fur and prevents matting, allowing better air circulation and heat dissipation.
🐾 Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and other small furries can benefit from a frozen water bottle in there hutch, cage or run.
🐾 Be vigilant for signs of overheating in your pets, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these symptoms, move your pet to a cool area and contact your vet for advice immediately. Heat stroke can kill quickly.

Does your dog sometimes need a distraction from a negative behaviour? What do you chose to do that helps them?

Daisy needed some serious distraction today from licking her legs. Dog friendly peanut butter and a LickiMat to the rescue.
