Me and my buddy here are ready for summer's busy season! Here's what you need to know about us:

As of now, we only do house sitting, as we find our clients' pets are more comfortable in their own homes and creates a better experience for them while their "parents" are away.

We are highly qualified specialists who usually work with rescues, lots of animals, and/or pets with behavioural concerns. We have 2 main sitters and an emergency sitter.

(Dee, me) I hold a masters in Animal Welfare and Conservation and have worked in a veterinary clinic as well as zoos for several years, plus a decade in pet sitting experience! Dee also has experience with reptiles and fish (and supporting aquatic LSS). I'm happy to also offer any expertise animal enrichment for your pets (nutritional, social, etc) and enclosure/living environment arrangements.

The other, Jamie, has extensive experience in animal training (mostly dogs and professionally backed and broke horses for several years) but also has experience with birds/poultry, reptiles (including a number of personal pets) and fish and is also familiar with LSS. Jamie specifically shines in their training of animals with special needs, offering a unique perspective on behavioral issues and can provide lasting results.

We also have a third sitter, Cheryl, who lives with us in case of emergencies, so we can ensure that there will always be somebody with them. (She also has access to a second vehicle, again, for emergencies).

If we are all a good match and are already available for the dates of your booking, we can arrange a meet-and-greet at your home with you and your pet(s).

Gorgeous sweet Popsy is here to tell you about our booking process.

Right now, we're offering primarily house sitting, as we find pets are simply more comfortable in their own homes. We're also doing some local visits.

We ask for dates and location of the booking and rough times along with any details (and ideally a picture!) about your pet(s). Details we like to know include their name, age, breed, any training/behavioural and medical information.

Meet-And-Greet:
Before a booking, we come to your home to meet you and your pet(s), see their walking/eating routine, behaviours, house habits, etc to give your pet(s) a chance to meet us on their territory while you (their safe person) is nearby to establish a trusting relationship.

The meet-and-greet is also a good time to tell us any house details (code for gates, plant-watering, etc).

Booking:
If it's a good fit, we'll arrange the dates and request a 50% booking fee to secure the dates, the remaining to be paid on the first date of the booking or before.

Often, clients leave me with information like veterinary emergency care phone numbers, wifi password, and location for extra treats for your pet!
