Get outta the rain! Come see us at The American House in Niceville Thursday (tomorrow) Nov. 16 from 10-3. The senior residents LOVE having visitors come to the center. This is our 3rd year. It’s indoors, there are some beautiful crafts and items from all sorts of vendors, and you spread joy! Hope to see you there!

If you haven't seen DUCHESS perform yet, this is something you certainly don't want to miss! They provide a great performance and specialize in Classic Rock, with an amazing sound and light show. As we enter the holiday season we are so excited to share with you that The Windmills at Hammock Bay and the Hammock Bay Farmers Market will be supporting the Walton County Sheriff's Office with their Santa Patrol mission this year. The Santa Patrol has been a part of the Walton County Sheriff's Office since the 1980's. Santa Patrol's goal is to seek out those in the community with a need and lighten the burden of providing Christmas to their Children. The School Resource Deputies work closely with the school personnel to determine the families who will be a recipient of Santa Patrol's help each year. This is a wonderful way to give back to the community and knowing that your gifts are going to a deserving child. Santa Patrol accepts NEW and UNWRAPPED toys, games, crafts, and art supplies for all ages. Gift cards to clothing stores, hygiene items, and hoodies or jackets in all sizes for ages newborn to 18 years of age. Santa Patrol will also take monetary donations using the QR code on the flyer.

There will be a few squad cars with signage at our special events this month accepting donations in the trunk of the patrol vehicles.
Special Event Drop-off Dates :
November 4th - Hammock Bay Farmers Market and
November 18th - Windmill's Christmas Festival of Lights. We will have a School Resource deputy getting on stage to talk about the Santa Patrol Mission and what it means to the community at each one of these events.

If you can't make it to one of our events this month to donate please reach out to our Events Director at [email protected] as we will be accepting donations through December 15th to donate to Walton County Sheriff's Office, Florida to help support their Santa Patrol Mission.

For a $15 donation (or $20 the day of), pets and pawrents, dressed as their favorite dynamic duo, can enter to win prizes in the Halloween costume contest. You’ll also receive professional photographs sponsored by Mills Photo Design.

We had a great time at the Dog Harmony event at the prestigious Hotel Effie last night. Although he didn’t win the treat contest, Mike’s peanutbutter treats earned 1 vote out of 3! We were SO EXCITED! (the competition was “ruff” with several amazing contenders) Congratulations to 3 dogs and a Chick of FWB!
