Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!🥰

As an Asian American with Vietnamese culture, I am proud to celebrate my heritage with my community and friends. This month, we honor the contributions and achievements that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have made throughout history🌏

Growing up as a child of immigrant parents, I have always embraced the richness of my Vietnamese heritage. From the delicious pho and bánh mì, to the beauty of our traditional ao dai costumes, Vietnamese culture is a powerful reminder of who I am and where I came from✨

As an entrepreneur, I also take pride in applying the values of my cultural identity to my business. At Wulf Snacks, we embrace the hard work ethic and hospitality that is deeply ingrained in Asian culture, and we're committed to providing the highest quality treats for all our furry customers🐾💕

Here at Wulf Snacks we hand-trim all fatty treats to ensure they're free of oils and unwanted smells, and we always source the freshest and highest-quality meats we can get our hands on!

The quality of our proteins sets us apart as most of our suppliers also cater to high-end restaurants. We take pride in providing meats that are always fresh and cleaned to perfection. This is why a lot of our customers always rave about how non smelly our treats are!

Hand trimming every piece of fat off meat is extremely tedious and is a labor of love, but nothing brings us more joy than seeing happy doggos and kitties on our feed🥹

By trimming off unwanted fat we can also reduce the chances of pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is a condition in which the pancreas becomes inflamed and could be fatal.

As owning a pup that suffered from chronic pancreatitis. I always tried to provide my baby with the cleanest and simplest diet possible, which wasn't always easy.

That's why I became so meticulous about fatty and oily treats. When I ordered some single-ingredient treats for my dog, many of them came in oily with lots of leftover fat. I knew I needed to do better for her and for other pet owners who face the same challenges.

We strive to provide the ideal treats for all pets, including those with special dietary needs. We know that every pup deserves a healthy and delicious snack, and we're committed to delivering that every time

Keeping your pet safe during the spring:
🤧Allergies🤧

🌸 Pets can have allergies to fleas, food, and seasonal changes like pollen

🌳 Springtime increases allergy symptoms due to pollen from blooming trees and grasses

🤧 Look for signs of spring pet allergies including intense itching, hair loss, open sores, and red or watery eyes

✨There is no cure for allergies, but they can be managed with proper treatment

🏡 Home approaches to manage mild symptoms include wiping down your pet, keeping doors and windows closed, frequent cleaning and vacuuming

Chocolate contains theobromine, a stimulant that is similar to caffeine, and is considered to be toxic to dogs. If ingested, it can cause vomiting, diarrhea, excessive drooling, a racing heartbeat, and in severe cases, even death.

As the days grow longer and the temperatures begin to rise, the signs of spring are all around us. The trees are budding, the flowers are blooming, and the world seems to come alive once again. While many of us look forward to the beauty and color that springtime brings, it's important to remember that this season can also be a time of danger for our furry friends🌼

As pet owners, we have a responsibility to keep our beloved animals safe and healthy. Unfortunately, some of the plants that are most commonly associated with springtime can actually be quite dangerous to pets. Castor oil plants, rhododendron, tulips, lilies, and oleander are just a few of the plants that can pose a threat to our pets.

Castor oil plants, for example, are known for their large, glossy leaves and colorful flowers. While they may be beautiful to look at, these plants contain a toxic substance called ricin, which can cause serious illness or even death in pets if ingested.

Rhododendron, another popular springtime plant, is also toxic to pets. The leaves and flowers of this plant contain a substance called grayanotoxin, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and even heart failure in pets.

Tulips, lilies, and oleander are also known to be dangerous to pets. Tulips contain a substance called tulipalin, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and even convulsions in pets. Lilies, on the other hand, can cause kidney failure in cats if ingested, while oleander can cause a range of symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhea, and even seizures.

So, as we enjoy the beauty of springtime and all the plants it brings, it's important to remember to keep our pets safe. Be sure to keep these dangerous plants out of reach, and if you suspect that your pet has ingested any of them, seek veterinary care immediately. With a little bit of awareness and caution, we can all enjoy the beauty of spring while keeping our furry friends healthy and happy.
