When you’re too warm and cozy and pink from snuggling under a fuzzy blanket on a chilly winter evening.
Don't get scammed. If the price tag is too much, rescue. Reputable preservation breeders who will interview you, or a rescue: those are your options. Purebred puppies are not an exercise in bargain shopping.
New challenge! It was their first time outside since the weather has been cold, and they thought it was awesome!

New day, new challenge!
Ms. Yellow says, challenge ACCEPTED! We enjoy thinking of new ways to help these babies problem solve and explore in a safe environment. Correct Doberman temperament means they are fearless, bold, thinking dogs- one of the many reasons why we LOVE them AND also why many folks shouldn't own them.
If you're considering adding a Doberman to your home, make sure you have the time, energy and mental fortitude to exercise your dog daily both physically AND mentally for YEARS to come.
MANY Dobermans are surrendered to shelters between one to two years old because at that age, their puppy cuteness has worn off, little training has been implemented, and now they are an unruly teenager with bad manners. It's when The Work begins for dedicated owners. This is NOT a dog to be left outside to their own devices. This is NOT a dog good at dog parks. This is NOT a dog who only requires six months of training- this is an investment of energy, time, training.
Please consider these factors before bringing one home, and should you decide it is the right fit, make sure you purchase a puppy from a preservation breeder more interested in screening you, your home, and your person, than they are getting that cash.
Just wanted you all to know about Parent breed clubs and National Specialty: both an amazing wealth of education! Did you know about these things? Should we start a list of Parent Breed Clubs?
Dog panties explained. And some other things 😂
Reposting @rdcdobermans best explanation of breed standards and preservation breeders out there.
Someone will like to speak to the manager
Welcome to the witching hour!

Five love to engage in some good old-fashioned destruction after they've had a meal and the sun has set, and quite honestly, how could you blame them?
Gee, who does he remind you of?!!
Sometimes it's weird to see so many similarities in two different dogs!(Even if they ARE related) Here's a little impromptu training session of our Champion Kaizen at 17 months!
When we know better, we do better. Here are some basic red flags for folks: 1) Little to no health testing. Every breed, especially Dobermans, ought to be health tested before being bred. For Dobermans, in addition to OFA hips, elbows, vWD, and more, this also includes ANNUAL echocardiograms and holter monitors. These two tests need to be done annually and evaluated by a CARDIOLOGIST. 2) Puppies are sold without contracts is a major red flag because reputable preservation breeders feel responsible for the LIFE OF THE DOG they produced EVEN if it doesn't live with them. Not only will contracts outline what the breeder has done to give the puppies the best start in life, and their commitments to the puppies they produced, they will also outline puppy owners' responsibilities and ramifications if they are not met. Most importantly, reputable preservation breeders will have a "Right of first refusal" which details that any dog they produced will be returned to them should the owner no longer be able to care for them-REGARDLESS of the dog's age. This ENSURES dogs that breeders produce do NOT END UP IN SHELTERS OR RESCUES. 3) Will sell to anyone who has the money-reputable preservation breeders not only conduct thorough interviews of potential puppy buyers, they will match the puppy to the home in order to create the most ideal permanent home for the puppy. Most reputable preservation breeders can sell their puppies ten-fold, but the priority is placing the puppy in a perfect home for all involved, lessening the likelihood of a puppy being returned or rehomed. 4) Reputable preservation breeders have no interest in repeating the same matings time and again because their goal is never *more* puppies, its *BETTER* puppies. Reputable preservation breeders have a goal in mind for each breeding, and that goal often involves
*IMPROVING* a weakness they see in their females or breeding program. Once a litter has been produced, they evaluate those dogs and continue the process of
