Ordered photos from Magic's first time in AKC Advanced SW trial in Huntsville. She double-Q'd in Buried Hides. And a photo of Jazz who also double-Q'd in Buried Hides as well as in Containers, Exterior and Interior at her very first AKC Novice SW trial in Huntsville! Wonderful trial and great club! The puppies from the Bluefox U litter are growing up nicely. Here is a photo of the girl I kept, Bluefox Unforgettable, call name "Jazz" with a young lady, Rozlyn Myers, who showed her for me in Raleigh, NC last week.

Okay, have moved the puppies into the living room's puppy pen for the daytime for now. Magic will visit them often, but this way they get more exposure to the other dogs going by and can come watch TV with me on the couch from time to time. Will put them back in the 'whelping room' at night for a while yet.

All right. Even I had trouble telling the black brindles apart unless I could see the face so I bought some soft velcro collars so that we could all tell who is who easier! I will put the name of the puppy and collar color in the description of the photos.

Oh, my goodness! I let Magic out the back so I could sneak some photos of the girls. She came in with her front feet completely covered with MUD! I'm sure she was trying to create a den where I would not be able to play with her puppies! GAAAH! Anyway, while she was out excavating, I got some photos of the girls!

Just weighed the babies. They range now from 11.0 oz up to 15 oz for Reggae. No question he will hit 1 lb or better tomorrow. What a porker!

Sad news tonight. Came in to check on the puppies and Magic and found the littlest puppy had gotten laid on and was not breathing. Despite my trying mouth to mouth, it was unsuccessful. Sad but happens.

Puppies are here! Introducing the Bluefox "U" litter (which means their name following Bluefox has to start with a U. We have three boys and three girls. One boy is a mismark red brindle. Flashy and appears to be opinionated already! Then two nice dark brindle boys. A red brindle girl and two dark brindle girls. Just got around to weighing them. They range from 8.5 oz up to 12.5 oz. All are doing well. Magic is being a good momma. I'm up again at almost 4 a.m. to check on Magic and the babies. Ahhh, the glamorous life of a dog breeder! Magic went out to go potty and ate a cup of food with some full fat yogurt. She's back in the box with her pretty babies again. I'll go sack out on the couch for a couple more hours.

No puppies today. Magic's reverse progesterone test was 2.6. Dr. Monica says it needs to be below 2 before puppies are fully baked. Will take her back tomorrow morning for another test!

Magic had her x-ray today to count skulls. Dr. Monica said she saw 7!
