Recently I got the joy of being able to keep and see some caterpillars transform into painted lady butterflies. It was such an amazing and wondrous thing to experience.
They start out as these slightly ugly creatures stuck in a very small area to roam with only little legs to keep them moving. Not really able to see the beautiful and big world they exist in. They really only know to eat and prepare for the hard transformation ahead. They appear to do it without hesitation or fear of what comes next. Do they know that soon they will transform into a beautiful creature with wings?
Soon enough they find out. They enter into that hard icky looking chrysalis and eventually over time they transform into a creature so different then what they started as. Their beautiful colorful wings give them the ability to float effortlessly on the air, up and up to finally rise above it all and see how big and beautiful the world really is.
I see me in that ugly little caterpillar. My transformation certainly isn't as quick but it's happening as each day passes. My transformation progresses with each new hardship I pass thru, with each happy moment, with each tear I shed,with each new person that enters and sometimes exits my life I get closer to being my own version of a butterfly.
Due to a unforseen family issue I'm taking a break from this business. I'm not emotionally ok or able to give my customers a high level of the service that I need to. I'm unsure how long this break will be. Thank you to all for the years of great times. I hope to be back in some capacity soon but I'm unsure if I will ever resume this business.
