Nothing better then going out to the barn for morning chores to find one of your herd bucks dead. He was fine and hopping around like normal last night along with eating. RIP Anandapurs Matcha. You will be missed ❤️ Hopefully one of your offspring can fill your shoes. 😥😓😢

What does one do when the cool spurt is about to end... breed of course. Got 9 does potentially bred tonight 2/3rds of them were trying to be the buck so will do another round tomorrow night when its cool. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Well looks like none of my does took considering Wednesday would have been the last day of the stretch. Will be doing a rebreeding with a large amount of does. Still upset that I have to put down such a beautiful brood doe even though shes acting normal. 😥

In rabbit breeding there is always the hard days. Went out to do nightly chores and one of the brood does I was so excited about getting offspring from seems to have hurt herself im thinking she broke her back so unfortunately if she's not snapped out of it by tomorrow afternoon I will have to put her down. It's always the ones your excited about that make things harder. 😓😥😢 Hopefully I can replicate the breeding to produce another one of her 🙏 at least I can try that and I have her sister as well

when its too hot during daylight hours so your out in the barn past midnight cleaning trays out, also constantly watching does that are due today just hangout and watch you instead of being productive 😑🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Went to the Kentucky State Convention this weekend only took a few just to have some rabbits on the table. Grayamcrackers GC43 a black Jr buck took some best jrs out of the 4 shows I did and took BOS in show C. Actually had some competition as well so that was nice. The Netherlands are still young so no big wins besides a couple bovs and maybe a bog but not a lot of self's nor himis. Had a great time though but man the traffic in Cincinnati and Lexington is no joke.

What does one do on their day off right before a heat wave? Clean trays and breed rabbits. Hopefully got 6 dwarf does bred this evening with the cool weather🤞🥵

Grayamcrackers GC42 (H316H offspring) Proven Black Buck. Will be 10 months this month and looks like he will be staying on the smaller end of the scale. Great topline does have a slight flair at his hips with great deep intense color. Will be at the Kentucky state convention at the end of the month.
