Sorry for the delay folks, but I was trying to let my peeps at the North Bay & District Humane Society survive their own cupcake fundraiser.

Stopped by yesterday for our official cheque delivery!! Thank you to everyone who helped make my fundraiser reach incredible heights this year!! Skies the limit my friends ❤️

We had a visitor last night! Bear, now Elliott, came over with his mom and dad to pick up cupcakes! He was one of the 6 dogs we fostered last year. Seems like a lifetime ago that our home was filled with puppies ❤️

We are so blessed to get to see our babies grow up!

Yesterday was CRAZY!
Words cannot express my immense gratitude for the kindness, generosity, patience and support of my community. ❤️

I’m a mother of two with a full-time job who bakes like a crazy woman ONCE a year to help animals in need. 😂 YOUR support is what drives me to do it year after year. This is an incredible experience to share with my daughter’s, to show them how one person can make a difference.

It’s grown from 100 cupcakes and a party of 1, to 1,800 cupcakes and an incredible team of bakers, decorators and drivers to bring this all together.

Katie's Cupcakes - Making Cupcakes to help animals in need is well into Cupcake-palooza!!

Reminder to please refer to the arrangements we made for pick up, and ensure you pick up at the correct place on the correct day. I am decorating over 1,800 cupcakes so I cannot guarantee that I will have time to answer messages. Sorry, but I’m in cupcake survival mode!

Burrows Country Store & Garden Centre is open 0900-5, but please give me till 1000 to get cupcakes delivered and unloaded.

My house - I’ll have cupcakes out front by 0900.

Make sure to check name on the labels so you don’t take home the wrong order.

I’m back!! It’s that time of year again where I bake my butt off for animals in need!!

In 2023 all of you incredible people helped me sell 1,600+ cupcakes and raised $6,100 for animals charities in Powassen, north Bay & Sudbury!! 💕

Please join me for this amazing event again this year. You don’t need to live in North Bay to help. You can make a financial donation, order cupcakes to be delivered to friends/family/co-workers in North Bay, or donate cupcakes to a worthy group (ie police, firehall)

My gosh, where has the time gone?! Cupcake preparations are underway!! 😬
Funds raised from this amazing event help animals in need in and around our community (can’t forget my Sudbury crew!!)

Today my girls and I had the honour of hanging with Terry, and these two lovely dogs (Finn & Chief). Sadly, this pair was recently surendered, but they were full of joy when we got them outside to play!!

Gonna miss these morning snuggles. 😢 these are such sweet puppies. Amazing personalities. Small. Freakin cute! They party for 1/2 hour then crash. I LOVE nap time. 💕

My time fostering a lovely mom (Maggie) and her 5 little babies is coming to an end. I am thrilled to say that I found AMAZING homes for 4 of the 6 dogs!! We are so excited to watch Luka grow up across the street from us! Maggie is going to my parents, Izzy is with a wonderful girl who used to be our neighbour, and Bear is with a wonderful lady who has become my dear friend and is eager to share his journey with us! ❤️

BUT, I have two sweet scruffy babies left who I am hoping to find homes for!! I know they will get adopted, but it makes saying good bye so much easier when you know who they are going to. Once at the Humane Society, they are out of our lives forever. 😞

Everyone here is passionate about animals, so I ask that you help me find loving FORVER homes for Milo & Daisy. They started life at a puppy mill, and they deserve to know all the love and joy that their little hearts can hold!

Ok friends, it is time to announce the final numbers for Katie's Cupcakes - Making Cupcakes to help animals in need Annual Cupcake Fundraiser (or Cupcake-Palooza as I’ve started calling it)…drum roll please

2022 Cupcakes Sold 1,340 Raised $5,400
2023 Cupckaes Sold 1,688 RAISED $6,620!!!!

I am in utter shock, had to recount 3x!! I am absolutely humbled by the kindness and generosity of family, friends & strangers. Thank you to all the friends and family local and across the country who donated financially, or bought cupcakes just to make other people smile!

This is my absolute FAVORITE day of the year. My heart is bursting!! I am blessed to share this experience with all of YOU! Thank you to everyone who baked (Lauren Beatty Kayla Restoule) and helped decorate (Jessica McLaren Kristen Alyssa).
And of course, my rock, Kaarina Kelly who not only ensured my girls enjoyed Carnival, but then came over to decorate, AND spent the day delivering cupcakes!! ❤️ thank you Brett Greene for joining me in deliveries and for taking ALL the photos!!

I’ll announce the recipients of the donations once I get a chance to see them and make it official!

TOGETHER we did amazing. Imagine what next year will bring!!
