Excited to be able to say I can take on some walks again 😁

At the moment it's very limited, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11:30-12:30 as this fits in around the newest Happy Dog team member's naps!

My 9 month old will be tagging along in his backpack and while there'll be no physical interaction between him and the dogs, it's vital that any dogs are child friendly.

Today I had my first session taking Libby out with Bruce. Both the dog and the baby were incredibly well behaved 🥰

Obviously the heavens opened and Libby and I got soaked, but it's a welcome break after the heat we've been having!

I'm thinking about opening my diary a little bit from September, which will be for previous clients only. Just need to figure out when I'll be available around naps/feeds etc. But if you're interested in having me back to take your dog out (with Bruce) then let me know 😊

It felt amazing to be back with dogs this morning 🥰 Miss Molly absolutely aced the out of sight down stays! 👏🏻

Bruce was a good boy too and slept in his carrier the whole time, although he did start to get heavy after a while! Who needs a gym when you've got a baby?!

We've been very quiet on the socials as our lives became way more chaotic six weeks ago! But small businesses don't stop just because a tiny human comes along 😊

And that's me finished for maternity leave!! My final drop in with the gorgeous Rue 😭

I'll be taking the next few months off to get to grips with our new baby who'll be making his appearance in January. I'm planning to resume my Thursday and Friday classes in the Spring and then see a couple of my old regulars for training walks as and when I can.

The shop will continue to run throughout my maternity leave but other than that I'm not sure how the future of Happy Dog looks. As a "planner" I'm going against the grain and waiting to see how things pan out while we figure out how life works as a family of four.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has supported me since I started up The Happy Dog Company 2.5 years ago. Whether that's been through using me for training or walks, recommending me to friends and family or just following this page. Your support has meant the world to me and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to call this little business my own!

Another sad day today as I had my final walk with Dottie 😭😭 this very special lady was my first ever new customer when I set up The Happy Dog Company 2.5 years ago and my love for her has grown with every single walk. She has the most gentle soul and I can't even begin to describe how much I'll miss her!

And that's it for training and big walks!! The next three weeks I'll continue with classes and drop ins, but the countdown is certainly on to the 20th December.
