And that's me finished for maternity leave!! My final drop in with the gorgeous Rue 😭

I'll be taking the next few months off to get to grips with our new baby who'll be making his appearance in January. I'm planning to resume my Thursday and Friday classes in the Spring and then see a couple of my old regulars for training walks as and when I can.

The shop will continue to run throughout my maternity leave but other than that I'm not sure how the future of Happy Dog looks. As a "planner" I'm going against the grain and waiting to see how things pan out while we figure out how life works as a family of four.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has supported me since I started up The Happy Dog Company 2.5 years ago. Whether that's been through using me for training or walks, recommending me to friends and family or just following this page. Your support has meant the world to me and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to call this little business my own!

Another sad day today as I had my final walk with Dottie 😭😭 this very special lady was my first ever new customer when I set up The Happy Dog Company 2.5 years ago and my love for her has grown with every single walk. She has the most gentle soul and I can't even begin to describe how much I'll miss her!

And that's it for training and big walks!! The next three weeks I'll continue with classes and drop ins, but the countdown is certainly on to the 20th December.

Cuddles with this one today 🥰 we were supposed to have our final walk, but it was too wet and I don't have any waterproofs that fit my bump now 🙈 I count so many of my customers as friends now and Louise is definitely one of them! Will miss her and Wilson lots over the next few months 😢

My final walk with Libby this morning for a few months 😭 when you see a dog and their owners every week for nearly 2.5 years they can start to feel like family and that is certainly the case with Libby, Pat and Phil, I will miss them dearly while I'm on maternity leave! Already looking forward to getting back out with this beautiful girl again next year ❤️

Bramble having a little cuddle after a post Train'n'Tea snooze yesterday at the Wherry Inn in Geldeston. Can't believe there are only 4 Friday sessions left until I take a short break for maternity leave!! 😱

Honestly... You recommend another dog trainer to your customer for agility classes and they come back as a walking billboard! 🙄😂

In all seriousness, I love that I share customers with other, local dog trainers. We all offer different things and it's lovely to be able to recommend others and have a supportive dog training community 🐾

As a herding breed, Wilson has never naturally held items. On retrieval he typically spits them out at my feet, ready for me to pick up and use again. But now I'm too pregnant to keep bending down to the ground so I'm very grateful that he's finally learned "hold it" 🙌🏻

A very sad goodbye to Sydney, Dylan and Lady today as Hannah will take over their walks for me from November. Over the last two years there hasn't been a single week when they've been anything less than ecstatic to see me. I'm going to miss them all so much! ❤️🥲

My last walk with wonderful Daisy today 😭 I've walked Daisy for two years and she is so full of character, I swear we've had actual conversations before!

Slowly reducing my workload is easing the aches and pains on the bump/joints, but breaking my heart too 💔

Tuesdays are my Little & Large day! Starting with the smallest dog I see - miniature dachshund, Rue, followed by the largest dog I see - rescue greyhound, Sooty 😍
