Meka: Hey, Pet Parent! I have a question.
Me: Ok, wait, what did you call me?
Meka: Pet Parent
Me: Where did that come from?
Meka: TV, where else? As you love to point out I don't have thumbs so typing is really hard. Besides you're not my dad, he has 4 legs, covered in fur and lifts his leg to p*e. I've seen you p*e and you don't lift your leg.
Me: Ok, Ok, what is your question.
Meka: Are rabbits prey?
Me: For the most part they are. The wild rabbits you see when walking in particular.
Meka: Aren't they supposed to zig zag when they are running away?
Me: Oh, I see. The wild rabbits in our neighborhood must have a weird gene.
Meka: Why do you say that?
Me: Well, they ARE supposed to zig zag to get away from predators, like yourself. The rabbits here, however, believe running away in a straight line, directly in front of you, is the way to go.
Meka: Glad I'm not a rabbit!
Me: Me too! Now go back to sleep or you won't get your 20 hours in for today.

Meka: It has been so windy the last few days.
Me: Well, how windy was it?
Meka: I was pretty much a dog kite a couple of times. Good thing you had a good on my leash!

What is up with all these little guys popping up all over the place. He usually has a white beard and moustache, black boots and a grey clothes. All the stuff in the yards is grey and white too and all these white and varying shades of grey lights! (Dogs can only see black, white and 50 shades of grey (argh)). Humans can be hard to understand sometimes. Mom and Dad even brought a tree into the house! My walks are getting shorter too. It's getting colder, but come on! I still need to get all of the new smells in the neighborhood.

So, while walking around the neighborhood Dad always says we woke up Bob or the Bobs if there is more than one. I have no idea what he is talking about. Until Mom came for a walk one day and Dad said we woke up Bob. Mom started to ask what he meant and then she chuckled. She said I get it, Bob Barker. Dad said yep from the Price is Right. Now, I have no idea who Bob Barker is, but even i know Drew Carey is on Price is Right. I think they're starting to lose it big time!

Hi everyone! Check out my new profile pic!. Now I have a pillow and a pic.
What is going on with the front yards?? Almost everyone has something weird. I don't know what they all are, but I can't wait until they go away. I HOPE they are going away. Things flapping, weird stuff stuck in the ground (they don't smell like much), extra lights all over and strange noises. Dad keeps saying it's okay, but I am still keeping my distance. Still need to do the walks, so I have to suck it up I guess. Talk soon.

Here we are again. Do any of pet Moms or Dads talk incessantly on walks. (Dad: "she is exaggerating. I don't talk ALL the time"). Hey, what did you write just now? "Nothing". Yes you did, you were typing without input from me. "Ok. I was just saying what a PLEASURE it is to walk with you". Grrr, I don't believe you, but I can't read.
Anyway, he talks a lot. I can't understand a word, but I hear =&!&!€ (SIT) and +€!;,_ (PAW), I get a treat. Well, he is a good pack leader so I guess I can put up with the incessant talking.

Hey everyone! It's been a weird week. Dad is always home, but Mom has been home a lot this week. Not doing much, just hanging out. Kinda freaking me out.

It's been weird outside, too. The trees are making a lot of noise lately and not looking right. On the bright side there have been a lot squirrels and rabbits out. One of these days I will catch Dad by surprise and get to really chase one of them!

Sorry this has been so long coming. Dad has been busy being retired, whatever that is. I am not allowed to touch this thing and I don't have thumbs anyway. I know he is here all day and I get to go on walks a lot!
I saw a big white thing in the sky this morning and it freaked me out! Dad said it was "just" the moon. Yeah, right! I don't care what it's called, it still freaked me out.
I will try to get Dad to post more often. Good bye for now!

O M G!! I was on a walk with my pet dad this morning and suddenly I heard this loud whoosh. Dad seemed excited about it. I looked up the next time I heard it and saw this big weird shaped ball in the sky. It made the whoosh noise several more times. I didn't what it was, but I just wanted to get away from it asap! Dad didn't understand why I was so freaked out, so we decided to head back home. Wouldn't you know it! The weird shaped ball was whooshing it's way right over my house! I didn't know WHAT was going to happen. It kept whooshing and getting higher in the sky. Finally it was gone and boy, did I feel a lot better. If any of my per friends or their pet parents know what that thing was please drop me a line! I just hope I can get my 16 hours of sleep in today! See ya soon!

Hi everyone! My name is Me'ka and I am a dog. A lot of people say I look like a fox. So my pet parents thought it would be hilarious to make a new species. The choice was between DOX and FOG, I guess Dog/Fox is better than Fox/Dog!

Anyway, welcome to my FB page. It is under my pet dads page -- Bill Bauman. He transcribes my dog talk into English so the pet parents can read it to their pets. Of course, I can't read, so I have to ASSUME, he is getting it right and not putting stuff in here I don't want made public! If anything embarrassing shows up, let me know so I set him straight!
