Yesterday, 13 cages cleaned and set up..10 carriers cleaned and set up! Thank you so much for your help Mom! You are truly the best! And...TODAY..this is what a bird lady's house looks like on the first nice day!!

Wings of Eli will be closed for regular business on Saturday March 26th, Monday March 28th and Saturday April 2nd. If you have an emergency and need a bird picked up or otherwise rescued, please call 574/549/3567 and leave a text message if possible. If you don't have text, you can leave a voicemail. We will send someone to help. Otherwise, we will get back to you as soon as we are able. We will be busy shooting the movie! Thank you for your understanding!

Got these guys in last night! Very late! We got them set up this morning and gave them their first bath. They will rest today. Their world just got turned upside down. They have had a 4 day journey to get here. They can rest and know they are loved now. Much more to come! If you would like to donate, please do! We have already spent $1,000 just getting them here. We haven't even started with their medical costs yet. A huge thank you to Indy Claw Rescue for taking care of them the last few days until we could get there. A huge thank you to Frosty & Friends Bird rescue for their donation of cages! A huge thank you to Abby for assisting me and helping set up cages in the middle of the night and staying with us on such a long day! Jeanine (mom) thank you for your toy donations! They love them!

We had an emergency vet visit tonight. Our little DoDo (pronounced like a dodo bird) lol. He/she got attacked by Olive our Indian ringneck rescue. I was supervising his flight time and he got into the area by Olive. She got him good. He had to have stitches. Then I had to figure out a cone of shame to put on him. I tried a flight suit but he soon wiggled out of that.
