DNV is a small family run rescue shelter for street dogs and cats in Bosnia. They

collect animals from the streets, nurse them to health, arrange for neutering, feed and shelter the animals until they are adopted in the UK, US or Europe. DNV stands for Diana, Nela and Vera, after the founder Vera and her two daughters, Nela and Diana. This page has been set up by several people who have adopted dogs rescued by DNV to showcase some of the fantastic work they do and to help raise funds for their work.

🖤 Mack🖤 has been in the DNV shelter in Bosnia since being found by Vera in a pipe at the side of a road where he was born. So not a good start in life. His mum and siblings have all been adopted successfully but not our darling 🖤 Mack 🖤!
He's a genuine good natured boy who is loving, playful and gets on great with the other shelter dogs. He has also passed a CAT TEST 📣

🖤 Mack 🖤is only 10 months old, mixed breed, medium sized and neutered. He's healthy, with a passport showing all tests and vaccinations done. He packed his bags too when his black brother Ralph left, bless him.
He's looking for a family ( children 10+standard) where someone is home most of the day and a secure garden where he can run and play.
Can you be the person who sees 🖤Mack🖤 as the wonderful member of the family he will be and not just another black dog! All he wants is love and to give love back. He adores cuddles too. Do you have room on your sofa? We have testimonials from Mack’s mum and siblings adopters that they are all great bringing joy to the famliy.

Thanks so much for the update 🙏 Romeo is loved by so many members and the DNV team but of course Vera and her family totally adore him too 💕🥰💕😍💕 “Vera Nela Andric Osmic I know you do, that's why I put the updates up. I want you to know what a handsome and wonderful dog he is. Only 7months with me and it feels like he has always been here. This is his loving forever home and I thank you for keeping him safe until I found him x”

Remember Baxter and his passion for swimming ? Well here he is happy that his holiday has found him some water to play in. 💦 You go beautiful Baxter 💖 Have lots of fun 💕

A lovely short update video on our gorgeous senior 💙 ROMEO 💙 He was one of the longest pups in the DNV shelter. 8 years from a baby Romeo grew up there with Vera and her family. He’s happy now in his forever home ❤️. Thanks for the update mom Samantha Creighton 🙏 “Beautiful day so we decided to spend the day in the Garden. Romeo and the girls are getting more comfortable and closer. They never leave my side . Romeo is a dream a real life Teddy Bear. We love him and he has really taken to my Granddaughter who's 8.”

So who thought our darling DELLA was too big to get a home in the U.K.? We’ll just look at her happy arriving today in her own garden with a caring family. We are all so pleased for Della and wish her a wonderful life ❤️

Another new arrival is our adorable MIMI. She looks very happy too. ❤️ Have the best life ever with your new friend Mimi 💕

Look at our beautiful PIPPIN in her new home 😍 Wow first day and she’s got a new name BERYL. Think she’s approved after her garden inspection as her tail can’t stop wagging god bless her. Have a great life Beryl aka Pippin ❤️
