Quick stop into the wholesaler today. So difficult to just go in and get what you NEED, because there is so many beautiful options, I was so tempted to get so much more.
This little guy has been a huge contributor to our cut flowers with his daily fertilizer offerings. The plants are looking great this year thanks to his contributions.😆 I have cut out all store bought fertilizers this year.

We are Valentine’s Day ready, despite not having any fresh flowers. You will be able to find us at the Galentine market 2459 Mosaic Way, Tyler, 10-3pm February 11th. Or message us to order we meet for drop offs in Tyler Saturday mornings and Whitehouse Monday evenings.
Making the base for our bath salts, I mix lavender greens, sage and pine needles and blend into epsom salt which gives it a nice natural green color and earthy herb scent. It dries for a few days before mixing in the rest of the ingredients. Your ache bones will love this mix. Our salts come with a mesh bag so cleaning the bath is a breeze, just fill the bag with a couple of tablespoons of mix and throw it into the bath water. At the end remove the bag and empty contents into the trash or garden and dry the bag for next time.
Did you know bees have a ‘morning wake up routine’ caught one in the act of doing his morning grooming. Once clean and fully awake he’s off to start his day.

You’ll get the cardboard vase and holes punched out ready to go and a posey of flowers. Discussion ideas posted in the comments for building a lesson plan around flowers.
If you create one post your pics in the comments below we’d love to see them.
Who knew bumble bees sleep so long. Took a picture of this guy asleep on the flower at 8pm last night and I had to wake him up at 7am cause I needed to harvest. Sorry little fella.

Texas Blue bonnets
The blue bonnets are in full bloom.
Some fun facts about blue bonnets. They became the state flower of Texas in 1901. Texas was the first state to plant flowers along the state highways. Taking a drive to enjoy the flowers in the spring became a thing.
So many people have stopped this week to take pictures and enjoy the flowers. If you’d like a posy send me a message. I’m taking limited orders so I can leave plenty for the picture takers.
