I’m in preparation mode over here for my pop up at Likewise Coffee for Valentine’s day.

I am so excited to announce a couple of places that you will be able to grab a beautiful fresh flower arrangement for your loved ones this Valentines Day.

I will be doing a popup outside of Likewise Coffee in Tyler February 14th 10am-12.

I will also be providing some Flower arrangements to Little Braveheart Farms. The farmstand is open 8am-6pm 20614 FM 16 Lindale TX. They will have flowers available on the 13th until they sell out.

Tulips are starting to pop up 😍 anemones are looking great and are starting to Bud. Sweet peas survived the cold snap and are coming along. I planted out some Lillies today they benefit from a cold start though I may end up having to cover them. Direct seeded some more poppies though they are for me to enjoy rather than a cut flower. You would think winter is a quiet time for flower farming but it is in fact one of the busiest times. Not for the beautiful pictures or sales but for all the behind the scenes seed starting and prep. Who else is starting seeds for their gardens?

Dried flower everlasting bunches ready for Valentine’s Day. Large and small bunches available.

I also finished making a fresh batch of body oil and I have a new stovetop potpourri blend for Valentine’s Day ‘warm embrace’ - Lavender, pink peppercorn, Lime, cinnamon and allspice.

I have a few new items I am working on to bring to market this year. One I am super excited about are these homemade flower frogs they are a game changer for arranging flowers. I’m sorry it took me so long to start making them. There are different sizes the small fits a mason jar, the medium works for larger jars, you sit them on top and stick stems through the holes. The first picture is using the frog, the second is the exact same stems in the jar but without using the frog. 😮 They really make such a difference!

We are 6 weeks out from Valentine’s Day and the Tulips are all in the ground. 🙏 we hit it this year but you just never know all depends on the weather. There is definitely an element of Faith in gardening when you do all you can do and the rest is up to God.

Happy new year! A year in review of my flower journey with fun workshops, weddings and baby showers. Looking forward to another fantastic year, planting even more than last year. It’s always so fun to see what spring will bring. What has reseeded itself, what comes back, what thrives, what colors there’ll be and if they’ll work together. Always lots to look forward to when you plant a garden. 🪴 💐

Quick poll because I need to start planning for Valentine’s Day. I’m hoping to have tulips flowering but if I don’t I need a backup plan and wanna know do you prefer.

A more soft and feminine bouquet or more bold a moody red bouquet?
And
Must have roses or don’t really care if it has roses? (Or like me likes roses just any color but red 😬)

Seedlings are looking good. I’m running behind getting everything in the ground this year…. But there’s still time. Statice, strawflower and feverfew are some of my favorite things to grow. Hoping for a good season this spring.
