Remember Konafa? ❤️🐕
🔷 We have so many dogs that have been in our program for years and we are continuing to try and update you on them.
🔷 This is Konafa who we rescued back in 2022 as a puppy from the streets of Cairo Egypt after she was hit by a car.
🔷 At the time she had a dislocated pelvic joint and some bruising and swelling.
🔷 With the help of our Shelter Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات she has been well cared for over the years and she was vaccinated and microchipped and treated for blood parasites.
🔷 Today, Konafa finally had her spay surgery and also had the hernia repaired.
🔷 Konafa is a sweet girl and is friendly with humans but is only good with smaller dogs.
🔷 I think the bigger ones scare her.
so we are looking for help to pay off that vet bill.
🔷 We really want to get some of these dogs a home so please go check out our available dogs on our website.
🔷 For now we wanted to show you how this gorgeous girl is doing.

I was very happy when I saw this wonderful scene in the cafe.
I watched this cat and a group of other cats sleep well on the benches and no one startled or woke them up.
I am very happy and I advise all my animal loving friends to go there.

🔷️ لقد مرت فترة من الوقت منذ أن نشرنا تحديثًا عن الصغير كانيون الذي تم العثور عليه في شوارع البحيرة مصر مع قطع قدمه وجسدة كان مغطى بالجرب.
🔷️ عندما أنقذناه لأول مرة ، كان ضعيفًا للغاية وجائعًا جدًا وكان يعيش في منطقة لم تتم فيها معاملة الحيوانات جيدًا.
🔷️ هذا الولد الصغير المسكين ، كان يحاول بالكاد المشي لكنه كان يعاني من ألم شديد بسبب ما فعله شخص ما به.
🔷️ لقد قمت بإلتقاط كانيون من الشارع ، تم نقله إلى الطبيب البيطري لتلقي الرعاية الطبية الطارئة ، ثم بعد فترة من الوقت في العيادة البيطرية ، أُعيد إلى الملجأ حيث كان يواصل التعافي.
🔷️ كان كانيون يعاني من الجرب السيئ للغاية وقد استغرق شهورًا من الأدوية والحمامات العلاجية لاستعادة فروه والنظر إليه الآن.
🔷️ نشعر بسعادة غامرة لأنه تعافى جيدًا ويبدو أنه يتمتع بصحة جيدة عندما يفكر في ذلك.
🔷️ قدمه التي قُطعت ، شُفيت جيدًا أيضًا بالكريمات والعسل ، ونحن على ثقة من أنه لن يحتاج إلى أي جراحة بتر ، وأنه يمكننا في المستقبل الحصول على ساق صناعية.
🔷️ الآن وقد انتهى من كل أدويته ، أعطيناه جرعته الأولى من التطعيمات ومزيل الديدان.
🔷️ كانيون طفل صغير لطيف وخجول ونحن نعشقه.
🔷️ لا أطيق الانتظار لإرسالة إلى منزل بالخارج لأنه يستحق أن يُحب.
🔷️ نحتاج حقًا إلى المساعدة في تغطية فواتير الطبيب البيطري المعلقة لعلاج الجرب والتطعيمات ، لذا إذا كان بإمكان أي شخص مساعدتنا ، فنحن نقدر ذلك حقًا.

🔷️ CANYON UPDATE. 🐶
🔷️ LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE. ❤️
🔷️ It has been awhile since we have posted an update on little Canyon who was found on the streets of Beheria Egypt with his foot cut off and covered in mange.
🔷️ When we first rescued him, he was extremely weak and very hungry and he lived in an area where animals were not treated well.
🔷️ This poor little boy, was trying to barely walk but he was in so much pain because of what someone had done to him.
🔷️ I picked up a canyon from the street, Canyon was taken to the vet for emergency medical care and then after some time in the hospital was taken back to the shelter where he has been continuing to recover.
🔷️ Canyon had extremely bad mange and it has taken months of months of medication and medicated baths to get his fur back and now look at him.
🔷️ We are so thrilled that he has recovered well and he seems to be very healthy considering.
🔷️ His foot that was cut off, has also healed well with creams and honeys and we are confident that he will not need to have any amputation surgery and that we can in the future get him a prosthetic leg.
🔷️ Now that he has finished with all of his medications, we have given him his first dose of vaccinations and dewormer.
🔷️ Canyon is such a sweet and shy little boy and we absolutely adore him.
🔷️ I cannot wait to send him into a home abroad because he deserves to be loved.
🔷️ We really need help with covering his outstanding vet bills for his mange treatment and vaccinations so if anyone could help us we would really appreciate it.
🔷️ Right now for the 4 months of treatment and food we owe $775.
🔷️ Please continue to share our mission so we can help dogs like Canyon.

🔴 الصور فى الكومنتات.
🔹️ فى الفترة اللى فاتت كنت بعانى من الإحباط الشديد بسبب قلة التبرعات التى بتيجى للشلتر و للحيوانات اللى أنقذتها من الشوارع و بسبب تراكم الديون لتجار مواد البناء و عدم وجود أموال كافية لتكملة بناء شلترى الجديد و عدم تقدير الناس لعملى الشاق اللى بعمله مع الحيوانات و وجود حيوانات كتير مصابة و بتعانى فالشوارع و لأن مافيش قوانين صارمة للحفاظ على حقوق الحيوانات فى مصر.
🔹️ و كنت بفكر فى إنى أقفل الشلتر و أعرض حيواناتى للتبنى.
🔹️ لكن إنهاردة قررت عدم الإستسلام و مواجهة الصعوبات و هكمل مسيرتى فى إنقاذ المزيد من الحيوانات فى الفترة اللى جاية.
🔹️ هذا الفيديو قام صديقى الأمريكى Gill بتصويرة فى شلترى لما كان بيزور مصر فى اخر مرة ليه.
🔹️ دلوقتى انا محتاج ضرورى حوالى 50 ألف جنية عشان أقدر أسدد تكاليف بناء المرحلة الأولى من الشلتر الجديد.

🔷️️ In the past I was suffering from great frustration due to the lack of donations to the shelter and to the animals I rescued from the streets, the accumulation of debts to building materials dealers, the lack of sufficient funds to complete the construction of my new shelter, and the lack of people's appreciation for my hard work with animals and the presence of Many infected animals suffer in the streets, and there are no strict laws to preserve animal rights in Egypt.
🔷️ I was thinking about closing the shelter and offering my animals for adoption.
🔷️ But today I decided not to give up and face difficulties, and I will continue my career in saving more animals in the coming period.

🔴 CANYON UPDATE 🐶

🔴 Despite all of the heartache, our work continues as we have many other souls who depend on us.
🔴 Little Canyon who was found on the streets of Beheira Egypt with his foot cut off and covered in mange is now residing in my shelter and receiving great attention and care from us.
🔴 I took him to the vet for given intravenous fluids, antibiotics and medication to treat his mange and then took him to Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات
🔴 We have done some blood tests that show that he has fungi in the blood and he will be subject to a treatment schedule.
🔴 When we first rescued him, he was extremely weak and very hungry and was in an area where animals are not treated well.
🔴 Canyon's mange was extremely bad so it will take a long time to get better so he will continue with that treatment and then we will get him vaccinated once he finishes with his medication but he is also taking vitamin and calcium supplements.
🔴 The good news He is eating well and that the end of the paw where it was cut off seems to be healing well with the creams and honey, so we do not think he will need to have an amputation surgery at this stage.
🔴 Canyon is such a sweet little boy who is very shy and calm and loves to eat out of your hand.
🔴 Thank you to everyone who has helped with his care so far, and if anyone could help us with $275 for his vet care and puppy food and supplies, we would appreciate it.

🔴 كنافة - حالة جديدة 🥺🐶
🔴 اثنين من مقاطع الفيديو فى التعليقات.
🔴 لدينا روح أخرى ثمينة نقدمها لك كانت ضحية حادث دهس وهروب في محافظة المنيا في مصر.
🔴 الصغيرة كنافة التي سُميت على اسم حلوى مصرية لذيذة لأنها لذيذة جدًا تم العثور عليها بالصدفة بينما كانت المنقذة التي تدير مأوى للخيول والحمير في طريقها لإنقاذ حصان.
🔴 تم دهس هذه الفتاة الصغيرة المسكينة بسيارة مسرعة ثم تركت ميتة والسائق لم يكلف نفسه عناء التوقف.
🔴 لحسن الحظ كانت سلوى عبدة هناك و اتصلت بى لمعرفة ما إذا كان يمكننى إيواء الكلبة كنافة فى ملجأى Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات ام لا.
🔴 و بالطبع لم اتردد لحظة واحدة لإنقاذها.
🔴 لقد أرسلت لها سيارة أجرة و جلبتها إلى ملجأى فى القاهرة و لقد أستغرقت رحلتها فى الطريق أكثر من 6 ساعات حتى وصلت إلى ملجأى بأمان.
🔴 أخذت كنافة للطبيب البيطرى وعملها أشعة سينية وظهر عندها خلع في مفصل الحوض وكدمات شديدة وتورم وفتق فى بطنها من ساعة لما اتولدت.
🔴 هنشيل الفتق لما نعملها عملية التعقيم.
🔴 تم وضع كنافة على مضادات حيوية ومكملات كالسيوم وفيتامينات وبتاكل طعام مخصص حتى تكتسب قوتها.
🔴 دلوقتى هى محتاجة للراحة لأن عندها صعوبة في المشى وهنكتشف خطة العلاج لعظام حوضها لأن أى نوع من الجراحة دلوقتى أمر خطير للغاية.
🔴 هذه الفتاة الصغيرة المسكينة كانت مغطاة أيضًا بالعديد من القراد التي تمت إزالتها وتتلقى العلاج وتأكدنا من تلقيها أول تطعيم لها.
🔴 فعلا معجزة لما يكون هناك شخص فى المكان والوقت المناسب للعثور عليها لأنها كانت ستضرب وتُترك ميتة ولا يمكنني حتى تخيل معاناتها في عمر 3 أشهر فقط.
🔴 مرة أخرى ، نطلب أى مساعدة في رعايتها الطبية لأننى غارق في الحالات كل يوم لذلك نحن بحاجة إلى بعض الرعاة الطبيين لدفع فاتورتها البالغة 320 دولارًا حتى الآن.
🔴 أشكركم جميعًا على الإيمان بالعمل الذي أقوم به وعلى دعمى لأننى لا أستطع فعل ذلك بدونكم.

🔴 KONAFA - NEW Case 🥺🐶

🔴 We have another little precious soul to introduce you to who was the victim of a hit and run accident in the Al Minya Governorate in Egypt.
🔴 Little KONAFA who was named after a yummy Egyptian dessert because she is so yummy was found by chance, while a rescuer who runs a horse and donkey shelter was on her way to rescue a horse.
🔴 This poor little girl was run over by a speeding car and then just left for dead with the driver not even bothering to stop.
🔴 Fortunately Abdoh was there and she called me to see if I could house the dog Konafa in my shelter Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات or not.
🔴 Of course, I did not hesitate for a moment to save her
🔴 I sent her a taxi and brought her to my shelter in Cairo, and it took her journey on the road more than 6 hours until she reached my shelter in safety.
🔴 Konafa was taken to the vet and she had xrays done which showed a dislocated pelvic joint, severe bruising with swelling and a hernia on her stomach which had been there since birth.
🔴 We will remove the hernia when we do her spay surgery.
🔴 Konafa has been put on antibiotics, calcium and vitamin supplements and will be on special food until she gains strength.
🔴 Right now she needs to rest because she is having difficulty walking and we will figure out the treatment plan for her pelvis as any type of surgery right now is too dangerous.
🔴 This poor little girl was also covered in lots of ticks which were removed and is receiving treatment for and we made sure she received her first vaccination.
🔴 It is a miracle that someone was in the right place at the right time to find her, as she would have been hit and left for dead and I cannot even imagine her suffering at only 3 months old.
🔴 Again, we are asking for any help with her medical care as I am being so overwhelmed with cases every single day so we are needing some medical sponsors fo pay for her $320 bill so far.

🔴 One Video in Comments.
🔴 Look who is getting bigger and growing up? Little Agamista who was attacked by a nursing mother on the streets of Cairo Egypt is doing amazing.
🔴 She suffered large wounds to her neck when she was bitten after she wandered too close to a momma dog who was feeding her babies on the street.
🔴 Agamista was an orphan puppy, who was just trying to find milk for herself, but dogs are territorial and out of fear, she was attacked.
🔴 With the help of our partner Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات we had her treated at the hospital and at the time she was so tiny and weak that we were worried if she would survive.
🔴 Fast forward now to 4 months after initial treatment, she has gained weight and her wounds have completely healed.
🔴 she went back to the vet for a checkup and her final vaccinations and rabies shots.
🔴 She is eating well and continues to receive vitamins and supplements but other than that she is not on any medication.
🔴 She is a sweet and happy little girl who is finally able to be the puppy that she deserves to be.
🔴 Our next goal is to get her spayed once she is old enough and then get her ready for travel abroad to Canada.
🔴 Until then, she will stay with the shelter, and we will do regular check ups on her to make sure she stays healthy.

🔴 انظر من يكبر وينمو؟ الصغيرة Agamista التى تعرضت لهجوم من كلبة أم مرضعة في شوارع القاهرة بمصر لقد اصبحت مذهلة.
🔴 لقد أصيبت بجروح كبيرة في رقبتها عندما تعرضت للعض بعد أن تجولت بالقرب من كلبة أم كانت تطعم أطفالها في الشارع.
🔴 كانت Agamista جروًا يتيمًا ، تحاول فقط العثور على الحليب لنفسها ، لكن الكلاب محلية وبسبب الخوف ، تعرضت للهجوم.
🔴 بمساعدة شريكنا Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات ، قمنا بعلاجها في المستشفى البيطرية وفي ذلك الوقت كانت صغيرة وضعيفة لدرجة أننا كنا قلقين إذا كانت ستنجو ام ستموت.
🔴 تقدم سريعًا الآن إلى أربعة أشهر بعد فترة العلاج ، فقد ازداد وزنها وتعافت جروحها تمامًا.
🔴 عادت إلى الطبيب البيطري لإجراء فحص طبي والتطعيمات النهائية وحقن داء الكلب.
🔴 تأكل بشكل جيد وتستمر في تلقي الفيتامينات والمكملات الغذائية و لا تتناول أى دواء.
🔴 إنها فتاة صغيرة حلوة وسعيدة تمكنت أخيرًا من أن تكون الجرو الذي تستحقه.
🔴 هدفنا التالي هو تعقيمها بمجرد أن تبلغ من العمر ما يكفي ثم إعدادها للسفر إلى كندا.
🔴 حتى ذلك الحين ، ستبقى في الملجأ ، وسنفحصها بانتظام للتأكد من بقائها بصحة جيدة.

CANYON UPDATE 🐶 BATH TIME 🛁
🔴 One Video in Comments.
🔴 Despite all of the heartache, our work continues as we have many other souls who depend on us.
🔴 Little Canyon who was found on the streets of Beheira Egypt with his foot cut off and covered in mange went to the vet for a medicated bath.
🔴 When we first rescued him, he was extremely weak and very hungry and was in an area where animals are not treated well.
🔴 With the help of my Shelter Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات Canyon was taken to the vets and given IV fluids and antibiotics and medication to treat his mange.
🔴 The good news is that the end of the paw where it was cut off seems to be healing well with the creams and honey, so we do not think he will need to have an amputation surgery at this stage.
🔴 Canyon's mange was extremely bad so it will take a long time to get better so he will continue with that treatment and then we will get him vaccinated once he finishes with his medication but he is also taking vitamin and calcium supplements.
🔴 He is eating well which is also good news and we will get some blood work done and a nail trim this week now that he has had a little time to rest.
🔴 Sadly, there was a bigger dog that Canyon was hanging with and when we went to try and find her she was nowhere to be seen, so we have asked locals to let us know if they see her again.
🔴 Canyon is such a sweet little boy who is very shy and calm and loves to eat out of your hand.
🔴 Thank you to everyone who has helped with his care so far, and if anyone could help us with $290 for his vet care and puppy food and supplies, we would appreciate it.

🔴 على الرغم من كل وجع القلب ، يستمر عملنا لأن لدينا العديد من النفوس الأخرى التي تعتمد علينا.
🔴 كانيون الصغير الذي تم العثور عليه في شوارع البحيرة مصر بقدمه مقطوعة ومغطى بالجرب ذهب إلى الطبيب البيطري ليحصل على حمام علاجي.
🔴 عندما أنقذناه لأول مرة ، كان ضعيفًا للغاية وجائعًا جدًا وكان في منطقة لا تُعامل فيها الحيوانات معاملة جيدة.
🔴 بمساعدة ملجأى Ziko Animal Rescue Shelter - ملجأ زيكو لإنقاذ و إيواء الحيوانات تم أخذ كانيون إلى الأطباء البيطريين وإعطائهم سوائل وريدية ومضادات حيوية وأدوية لعلاج الجرب.
🔴 الخبر السار هو أن نهاية المخلب التي تم قطعها تبدو وكأنها تلتئم جيدًا بالكريمات والعسل ، لذلك لا نعتقد أنه سيحتاج إلى جراحة بتر في هذه المرحلة.
🔴 كان جرب كانيون سيئًا للغاية ، لذا سيستغرق الأمر وقتًا طويلاً حتى يتحسن ، لذا سيستمر في هذا العلاج ، وبعد ذلك سنقوم بتطعيمه بمجرد انتهائه من تناول دوائه ، لكنه يتناول أيضًا مكملات الفيتامينات والكالسيوم.
🔴 إنه يأكل جيدًا وهذا أيضًا خبر سار وسنقوم ببعض تحاليل الدم وتقليم الأظافر هذا الأسبوع الآن بعد أن حصل على القليل من الوقت للراحة.
🔴 للأسف ، كان هناك كلب أكبر كان كانيون يتسكع معه وعندما ذهبنا لمحاولة العثور عليها لم تكن في مكان يمكن رؤيتها ، لذلك طلبنا من السكان المحليين إخبارنا إذا رأوها مرة أخرى.
🔴 كانيون هو مثل هذا الطفل الصغير اللطيف الذي يكون خجولًا وهادئًا جدًا ويحب أن يأكل من يدك.
