Dogma Danes & Pointers & Bulldogs Dogma Danes was founded in 2004. Pointers were added in 2014, and Bulldogs in 2021. GDCA, APC, & BCA.

Current memberships include the Great Dane Club of America, the American Pointer Club, the Bulldog Club of America, Piedmont North Carolina Bulldog Club, and the Durham Kennel Club (on the DKC Board of Directors).

Pink collar liver girl: “Porsche” (Dogma Oh Lord Won’t You Buy Me A Mercedes Benz) Porsche is like a little sports car- she loves to zoom around everywhere she goes, especially chasing toys…

Lavender (was Lime) Collar Girl: “Rosie” (Dogma Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard)
Rosie is sweet and has the cutest little freckles/ticking on her nose, with an easy button on the top of her head. She is like like her mother, happy to meet and greet everyone, everywhere she goes…

Green Collar Girl- “Alice” (Dogma White Rabbit)
Alice loves to jump over everything and everyone, like a bunny! Tigger would be the perfect name, but with the 60’s/70’s rock theme, White Rabbit fit her perfectly! LOL

Grey Green Collar Boy- “Henley” (Dogma It’s Another Tequila Sunrise)
Henley is Mr Chill. He likes playing and hanging out, yes- but loves to settle in and cuddle (usually laying on his back). A laid back Eagles cut fit him perfectly!

Dogma is an AKC Pointer Breeder of Merit, and are members of The American Pointer Club and Durham Kennel Club. Litter parents are fully OFA Health Tested. Dam is an AKC Champion; sire has 11 points including his majors.

Dogma welcomes the Capobiancos of NY into the Dogma extended family! Miss T***s (Dogma Amusabulls Unicorn Farts) met her new folks in historic Gettysburg, and made the trip back north with them… T***s already has everyone wrapped around her little paw, and is watchfully protecting her new homestead- well as well as keeping her new Daddy’s lap snuggly warm! She is SO HAPPY to be the center of attention, which made the tough decision to place her out much more bearable. Her happiness was the most important thing!

Mystery Pointer Puppy: Case Closed!!! Friday’s flying adventure landed Olive Collar lemon boy and I in Ontario, California, arriving right before midnight. The darling Lian family already had the purple collar girl (Clementine) from Moon Pie’s first litter, and wanted her to have a little brother after the passing of her housemate Milo. It was a joyous reunion with the family and Clemmie, and even Gael Sarver Johnson flew in from Oregon for the fun! I got to visit for the night and Saturday morning at their amazing home in the mountains, in the dreamiest little vacation community you could imagine. This baby will have a charmed life with THE BEST people… Brandon, Katie, and Scarlet, and Gael (our honorary Dogma member! LOL)- we are so happy you are part of our Dogma family- hope it made for a Happy Birthday, Brandon!

Where in the US did Purple collar boy land? If the song “The stars at night, are big and bright…” causes you sing the rest in your head and then clap, you KNOW he’s in Texas! Introducing Niño (Dogma Samba Pa Ti - a Santana song inspired name) and his new owner Alfredo Terrones! Mr Blue Is now known as “Percy” (Dogma Blue Skies) and touched down with me in Los Angeles, CA late morning PST time! Dogma unexpectedly had to say goodbye tonight to the matriarch of the household and a loving, beautiful soul… River (Fireside’s One Tree Hill V Dogma) went out to potty this evening- did her yard inspection and business, and came back onto the porch where she unexpectedly collapsed and was GONE. Sadly there was nothing that could be done.

River was 8 1/2 and was given to me by Melanie Chaput Harding of Koinoor Danes, after she was returned by her owners at 13 months old. I had just lost my last bred by Dane from cancer and had no Danes left in my household, and my heart was empty… when I saw her post River being available in MI, I knew it was meant to be and Elam and I took a road trip to visit Reiker at Olivet College, and brought her home.

She was stubborn, adorable, and how I got back into the breed and showing again… rest softly, my sweet River. 💙
