I put all the baby tortoises together for this time lapse and it came out great 🐢.
These reptiles (tortoise)are brought up in clean and hygienic environment and conditions and are also fed well as you can see in our post below

The first hatchling has escaped from the egg. Its yolk sac isn't absorbed yet so kept it on a paper towel ring so the hatchling doesnt damage it while trying to move around. Note : These posts are to educate people about the basic requirements of Indian Star Tortoises. Even though it is illegal to keep them as pets in India, people are anyway keeping them in captivity. Having no control over people, we are trying to educate people about keeping their tortoises healthy in captivity with the help of rescued and conservation groups. If you do not have a star tortoise in captivity in India, please do not get one

We are often asked about the differences between the look of the various Greeks that we keep. We have about eight types here, with babies from five of those available now. The subspecies “title” of each can clarify or distort them, so for our own use, we use a more common name. An example is the Ibera Greeks, which the Southern types are very different than the Northerns, so rather than just label them Ibera, we offer the two types separately and house the adults separately.

This photo is an example of what an average one of these would look like. There can be significant variation in them. We have used the same color coding system for many years, purples have always been Jordanians, etc.

A few percent we will lose the color code on, and we offer those as unknown type at a discount. Once they mature we can confirm what they are.
