Two late season roosters on heavily hunted public lands. Good job Mr. Jack! We had gone past both of these birds but Jack kept going back until he finally pinned them. Beautiful day to be in the field.

Good dog work this morning. Worked a covey of Blues all the way to the top of the ridge. Point, flush, retrieve. Worked back on the singles, found one but missed! Great day to be alive.

Great day for the old dog! Jack, our younger dog (6 yrs) usually get 90% of the finds these days, but today was Bobs (11 yrs) day! He nailed both of these rooster. Good job old man.

I hunt with two dogs. The thing that amazes me that one dog will find a bird the other totally missed. (This is true for both dog).
It also amazes me that when on dog is far to my right and the other far to my left, they find and point birds at the exact same time. Always a dilemma that seems to happen every time I go hunting.
