After a year of searching and trying to find Stone previous owner the other day I did.
I was so happy and I now know a bit more about his background.
I bought Stone last year from Shropshire, but he came over from Southern Ireland where he was born. He came over with his 3 other donkey friends, But he was parted from his friends that he grew up with and they all went to different homes.
So I now understand why he was so scared and looking sad when I first bought him and he wouldn't come over to me at all. It has been over a year now and he is doing so much progress and has builded my trust.
The other day I was so proud of him as he stood there for the longest period of time and let me stroke him all over his face. This wasn't possible when I bought him as he wouldn't come over to me and didn't like to be touched. He has settled in so well here in Wales and is friends with all the donkeys but his best friend is Doyle. He is such a sweet and handsome donkey.
