Meet Charlie ! He’s a 4 year old AKC standard poodle male , intact with full AKC breeding rights. However unfortunately due to major family event that’s life changing he is being returned in a couple weeks , no fault of his own. We will be screening families and searching for a home for him.
Info about Charlie :
55 lbs
Male
Intact ( not neutered )
4 yrs old , almost 5
Current on all vaccines & health checks.
vet records, AKC papers, he is healthy and just had yearly Check and vaccinations
Charlie is doggy door potty trained and used to having someone home with him all day.
He loves sleeping in his den space, which my husband built under our stairs at night. But he also did great sleeping in a metal dog crate before we built him his den two years ago.
He is VERY shy/timid around new people, large dogs, and new situations but does eventually warm up if given space and time. He tends to gravitate to women over men but is fine with either.
He eats Costco chicken and rice dog food. -He loves chicken broth sprinkled on top but doesn’t require it. His favorite treats are carrots.
His favorite toy is his large doggy flirt pole or Nyla bones. (I will send those with him.)
He loves long walks (he pulls pretty hard). He does NOT like to swim in our pool.
He is a good boy for bathing and grooming.
He almost never barks unless playing.
He is GREAT with children and loves every small dog he meets -unless they bark at him then he hides behind me. 🥰
