The film industry is HARD! I’ve been working my butt off with 3 incredible Pomeranians for a movie that just got cancelled. Soo frustrating! Now here we sit at the vets awaiting health certificates so I can put these cuties on planes!

Job opportunity! I’m looking to hire someone for a movie project! No animal experience necessary but must enjoy and want to work with animals. Will need to be ok to travel and live in another state while filming mid August through September. Approximately 6 weeks. Prior to filming they must be able to come and train with me 5 days a week. Rescue friends!! I am looking for :
two “pretty” small breed dogs (10-20ish lbs) for a feature film! (No smooth coated dogs)
One bulldog or Frenchie for the same movie.

Personality needs: outgoing, friendly to other dogs/people, treat motivated, not fearful in new situations/surroundings/people

6m and older please

Requirements: will need dogs ASAP and will keep them for training/filming until sometime in August.

We are fascinated and credit the researchers who observed a male Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) named Rakus self-treating his facial wound using a biologically active plant.

The biologists from the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior, Germany, and Universitas Nasional, Indonesia, say this is the first systematically documented case of active wound treatment with a plant species known to contain biologically active substances by a wild animal.

The study took place in the Gunung Leuser National Park in South Aceh, Indonesia. On June 22, 2022, the research team first noticed that Rakus had a fresh wound on his right fl**ge and inside his mouth.

On June 25, Rakus selectively ripped off leaves of a liana with the common name Akar Kuning (Fibraurea tinctoria), chewed on them, and then repeatedly applied the resulting juice onto his wound. Lastly, he entirely covered the wound with the chewed leaves. By June 30, the wound was closed; by August 25, it was barely visible.

Volunteer needed for Wednesdays at Finneytown Petco. It is an easy way to help - there are usually 2-3 cats there at most and you simply clean the litter boxes, feed, give fresh water and tidy up the enclosure....and of course get some kitty loving! Hi all! We are looking for the following dogs for a 2 day paid photoshoot in Chicago! May 22nd and 23rd

Cocker Spaniels
Golden Retrievers
Labs
Mutts (specifically lighter in color around the face, no docked tails or cropped ears, or flat faces)

If you are not in the Chicago area but are willing travel (on your dime) your pup will be considered

Personality must haves to be considered:
Outgoing, friendly to all people all ages, food motivated, not fearful in new situations (even at the vets)

Training likes but not must haves
Basic obedience (knows sit, down, stay, come)
Walks well on leash
Off leash trained/safe

If you wold like to submit your dog please send me a picture and the following information
Owner name and contact info
Dog pictures, name, age, breed, and any info on personality or trained behaviors they know
