Sora and I went to the Tulip Festival last weekend with our friends Freddie the Beagle and Jenn Michaelis. The flowers were gorgeous, and so many people loved on the dogs. Fred has a professional photo shoot. Sora had me with my phone. :D

I finally got around to update the website with Sora as an adult, with her own page and everything! It needs tweaks, I'd like a different way to display photos than the image carousel, but hey, the page exists now!

Sora (full name Corvus as the Crow Flies) is an endlessly optimistic Alaskan malamute.

We shook off the professionalism at the shows for a long romp today, and the sky was well worth it!

I went 4 miles, who knows how far the dogs traveled!

This weekend our local malamute club Cascade Alaskan Malamute Enthusiast Organization - CAMEO hosted their annual specialty concurrent with the Rose City Classic Dog Shows. Sora took Winners B at the specialty yesterday and Winners B again at the all breed today!

She also got her 3rd Q and placed 4th in Rally Novice A for her title.

AND the best part is she happily greeted so many visitors as an ambassador ar Meet the Breeds. Sora gently took treats, gave kisses, and adored the kids. She did great and had a good time.

All-Breed shows held January 16-19 with the Tualatin Kennel Club and Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon.
AMCA Specialties held on Friday, January 17 & Saturday, January 18
Puppy & Veteran Sweeps offered on January 17

Winners of the specialties are eligible to compete in the Rose City Classic's Supreme Specialty Challenge on Sunday-- see Premium List for information.

Obedience, Rally, Scent Work, Agility, Trick Dog and CGC Testing all offered at the same venue throughout the weekend. We will be sponsoring a rosette for the highest scoring malamute in the DFAO rally trials.

Entries close on 1/2/25. For those who cannot attend but are interesting in supporting our club, we are accepting trophy donations via our paypal (cameodogclub), and will be taking raffle ticket purchases for our ruffland crate raffle (pinned to our page) until the show closes.

We did a thing! Sora and I went to visit our friends in Washington at Evergreen Canine Enrichment with some mal pals to train some weight pull skills. This was Sora's first time pulling on rails, and after having some snacks on the tracks she thought that was just fine.

Tim and Mehgan did a wonderful job encouraging each dog to bring out the drive.

Ot course now Sora gets to nap.
