Almost forgot a pic of the soup…. This is fresh made tomato! Roast the veg on a sheet pan, puree, heat & add a bit of vegan cream. Super simple end to summer. Thanks to everyone for making the evening possible. 😘

Our new favorite tomato to grow for sauce making: Amish Paste from

These tomatoes are considerably larger than the Romas and San Marzano tomatoes we are used to growing for our sauce and tremendously meatier. They were so easy to peel after roasting and have a very robust taste perfect for some "spicy sauce."

Here is the whole meal in one place. Squash fritters (recipe from ), chili crisp tofu with smashed cucumbers and tomatoes ( ), tomato bruschetta…this was my fave ( ), collard leaf wraps stuffed with eggplant, zucchini & chick peas with a ginger peanut sauce (my recipe), tomatoes with housemade balsamic and vegan mozzarella, pistou (kale, basil, lemon, EVOO & salt), and a chocolate cake that was just sweet potato, cocoa and dates. Thanks everyone! Recipes will be sent in a bit. I will enhance my cocktail skills for next class. All produce is from …. Well… i grew the basil! 🌿
