WORLD! Meet little Miss Priss herself
Female exotic shorthair 2-3 years of age

Good with dogs
Was sent to us due to potty issues. I believe she needs to be the only cat. She has no UTI issues/symptoms and is incredibly friendly. I think it’s her not wanting to share her box or space. Her new home will have to have no other cats or at the most 1 with an owner that has patience to help her settle and get used to her new space. Located in Bismarck. Dm us with any other questions.

Miss Persephone’s results came back from her f***l float and luckily there isn’t anything significantly wrong with her requiring any new medication which is great news!! We are to keep giving her the current meds awhile longer in hopes of helping at least somewhat with her diarrhea. What Persephone is in need of is diet change to a high fiber diet which did wonders when she was on this food in the past. She will need to be on Royal Canin Gastrointestinal food. If anyone happens to have any they no longer need and would like to donate to her we (and she) would forever appreciate it. Or if you can donate a little towards purchase of a new bag for her. (A rx is needed to purchase this kind) Persephone sends her love to everyone!! Please share.

Rescues are flooded. We can’t take anymore. Folks can’t donate anymore time/money. It’s a lost cause some days it seems. Train YOUR pet, fix YOUR pet, quit breeding, and realize these are living beings with feelings and awareness

We have had cats returned that needed vet care and instead were just tossed back to us. When you rescue that means yes, at some point you will need to vet that animal. Be it in a few months or a year. It’s going to happen. With that being said, Persephone is back and desperately needs vet care, please donate to her cause and hopefully we can find her a forever home after this next couple vet visits

PSA: It is with a heavy heart to share this message. We have officially closed our doors. We will no longer be taking in anymore cats that are in need or checking the inbox messages.

Thank you to everyone for the support and donations throughout this rescue journey. We are so grateful for those that helped us save as many lives as we did.

Poseidon had the surgery for his entropia and is at his Foster home Healing nicely. He has 2 weeks of medication left as well as a checkup visit to remove stitches. As long as he heals well he should be ready for adoption. With that being said we still have meds to pay for, litter, and another vet visit. This is our last rescue, so any help is appreciated. We are so far in debt with these guys that we can’t do it anymore. Thank you for all the support the last few years and don’t forget to keep supporting all the other local rescues. They are saving lives each and every day.

During Poseidon’s neuter today it was discovered that he has entropion in both eyes. This needs to be fixed surgically to save his eyesight. Surgery will be approximately $400. If you can please help us by donating or sharing this post Poseidon would greatly appreciate it as would we. This snuggly boy sends all the purrs and meows out asking for your help. Let’s get him all fixed up and ready for his forever home!! 😻 😸

Today is our last big push. We’ve had ZERO interest in adopting any of these adults, as well as ZERO offers to help foster. We are out of money and still have to cover these two spay/neuters as well as medication for Poseidon’s eye infection. We’ve been using food/litter/etc for these 4 cats for many months. We are in desperate need to funds to help cover these vet bills as well as restock our food/litter reserves. This will be the last rescue we do (I can’t keep paying these vet bills/buying food from my own pocket, it’s hurting my household) , so please help us find them homes and raise some funds to keep them healthy. Also. Fix your pets. I’ve seen dozens of posts about “free kittens, mama cat had another litter”. Rescues are drowning and you are letting your cat have kittens? You’re a part of the problem. Miss Persephone had her dental work done today. Everything went well and she’s back at her foster home resting. She had 10 extractions along with her already missing teeth. She’s down to about 6-7 teeth I believe. She may have to have a couple more extractions in a few years but for now she’s a healthy lady who is ready for a furever family and home of her own after she’s fully recovered. If all goes well that should be about a week.

Just like all other rescues, we are over full and under staff. We do not have enough foster homes, we do not have enough donations, and at this point, weve kind of hit a wall. After we adopt out these last four, our doors will be closing. That doesn’t mean we still do not need to raise funds to cover their vet bills. We still have some teeth work to do, a spay and a neuter. Please help us, raise the rest f the $ we need, as well as get these cats adopted out into their forever home. Thank you for all of your support over the years. We appreciate it and all the lives we’ve saved appreciate it as well.

Introducing Hades. He’s about 1 and scheduled to be neutered on June 3. He really needs a foster willing to give him space to come around on his time. He doesn’t like to be touched yet. He’s learning to come sleep in bed with his current foster and the other cats, but doesn’t want any pets. He loves toys and wet food and delectables as well. He will eat wet food or delectables from your finger once he’s comfortable with you. He would do best in an adult only household, but he would love a companion cat to cuddle with though and to watch to keep showing him that humans are okay. If you would be interested in fostering this sweet boy send us a message. Or if you think he would be a good fit in your household if you understand he cannot be touched until he’s ready please reach out. He deserves a chance to thrive. He has come a long way from when he first came to us. Remember that he came from a house overfilled with cats and most likely never had any human touch prior to here.

Introducing Poseidon!! He likes to be held and cuddled like a little baby. He will hold you close if you aren’t cuddling him to his liking. He’s super playful and also loves the cat tunnels and swatting around anything that makes noise. He is vocal and will let you know if he wants something or if he just wants to chat. He is scheduled to be neutered on the June 3rd but if you’re interested in him now send us a message to meet him and let’s get the process going. Poseidon is about 2.

Meet Hermes! He’s also ready for a family of his own. He would do amazing in any household with or without other pets. He’s super friendly and loves to play and cuddle. Meet Miss Persephone. She’s ready for adoption or foster. She’s still a little skittish so it will take her a bit of time to come up for love and will need some dental work done but she would be a wonderful only cat or she would do fine with friend/s. She’s been around dogs and other cats. She loves her wet food and loves to cuddle with the other cats. She is UTD on her shots and she’s spayed as well. She’s believed to be around 8.

Hermes: He is super sweet. Loves to play. Gets along with everyone as well as other cats and dogs. Likes to have someone to lay with and would be a great addition to any family. He is neutered and UTD on his shots. Ready for his new family.

Poseidon: He is super playful. Loves anything that rattles, especially loves the play tunnels. He is a super sweet boy that insists on cuddling and holding you. Get along with anyone and everyone including other cats and dogs. He has his neuter appointment on the 3rd of June but is UTD on shots and everything.

Great news!! Hades and Persephone are out and about with the rest of the cats just catting around. Persephone is still hiding quite a bit but will let you pet her once in awhile. Hades doesn’t want to be touched but is exploring everything including climbing on his foster mama while she’s laying in bed as long as she doesn’t touch him. But we need your help still. We need fosters for these sweet babes. Hades would do great with a buddy (preferably Persephone) in a quiet, slow household, with no children. Persephone woul do best in a quiet slow household with a buddy (preferably Hades) also with no children. Poseidon and Hermes would do great in any household. Hermes is ready for adoption as well if anyone is interested. Poseidon will be as soon as he’s neutered in the next couple weeks. If you’re interested in fostering any of these sweethearts please send us a message. If you can’t then please share and get the word out. Thanks!!

Local rescues are swamped. Please spay/neuter your animals

We have Hades at the vet today. We are still struggling to even touch him so all medication has been crushed and given via wet food. That means we can’t neuter him with the others this week, which is good since we cant afford to fix them all. We are about $350 short on the spay/neuters. (because one has to have a hernia fixed at the same time so extra $$) Any donations help! Straight to the vet donations go to All Pets under the name Aileen Fritz. This will also help us when it’s time for Persephones teeth removals. That’s a whole different issue. Everyone is officially off their antibiotics, and we are working on getting them to put on enough weight to get spayed/neutered next. They are finally playing with the toys yall donated and are learning to be happy, healthy cats. Thank you so so so much. We still have some stomach medication and ear medication to finish up so their ear mites and diarrhea are finished, but so far we are happy with the outcome. If anyone wants to continue t help us the links are in this post. The biggest things we need right now are enclosures/cat trees/handling gloves/money to cover their next vet appointments ♥️ This has been a rough one, due to how severe the hoard was. These cats have never known what it feels like to be just be held/cuddled/safe. They are so inbred that their faces are shaped a little weird. We know hoarding doesn’t start off with bad intentions, but seeing the end is something rescues deal with regularly, and it’s heart breaking. As a well as the most difficult to handle financially. Anything helps. We are desperate to get these cats as close to normal as possible. They deserve it. Strange ladies feeding kittens. Thats what rescue is I suppose lol

Everyone is slowly settling in. We have to keep them kenneled for now due to a few things. 1. They are all sick so separating them is important 2. Medication is easier when they can’t hide 3. They have diarrhea (like dripping) very messy 4. Socialization is hard unless we can stop them from hiding. So we are in need of a few more food/water dispensers that are easy to clean and not tip over. We also need cat beds that are easy to wash and puppy pads. Calling these items are in our wishlist on Amazon. We have to be picky about food right now due to their intestinal issues so no more food is needed ATM. We have MANY vet visits in our near future to fix dental issues and possible leukemia (we won’t know until we see if they put on weight over the next few weeks) Donations are what help us keep them alive, anything is amazing!
