Well not exactly the vacation I had planned but I am thankful to be able to be around my horses. Sagan and I took a tumble at a fence schooling last week. Thankfully we are both OK. Sagan is feeling great. I'm a little banged up with a hip, clavicle, and wrist fracture. But very thankful that is all. I'm lucky to have my mom here helping me. I'm trying to be a good patient! I'm also very blessed to have a good support team around me and thankful to all of them!

It was a fantastic day on cross country!!! Sandro Street jumped around with 100% bold and brave!! We moved up to 8th place and ended the weekend with lots of confidence! Huge thanks to Wheeler Equestrian Ray for all you help getting us back on track! Huge thanks to my mom for braving the hot weather and Patti Keating for helping us cool off our star today!! The score board doesn't always reflect truly how good of a day you've had....Sandro Street was obedient and really tried hard today. I left dressage feeling very content with his test and I can't be more proud of how hard he tried in stadium! One slight miss communication at the final fence cost a us a rail but we aren't too worried about that....excited to tackle the cross country course tomorrow!! This mare truly is amazing!!! She popped around the training cross country like it was a stroll in the park!! Had a 27.8 in her last dressage test. Has competed novice and confidently schooling training. Clip, loads, bathes, stands for the farrier. When your first cross country school on your 4 year old Irish tb goes this well...you know you have a cross country machine in the making!! This horse is spectacular and extremely easy to ride and handle. Stands well for the farrier and loads easy. He would make and awesome horse for a young rider or AA looking for a project. 15.2h. We still have a couple speed bumps to get over but overall Sandro Street was jumping amazing today for our xc school!! Looking forward to seeing how the weekend goes!! Huge thanks to my mom for being a 5* groom/videographer today!! And thank you to Ray and Beth Wheeler Equestrian for you great coaching advice!

Sandro Street is back and feeling fantastic!!! Needless to say he was amazing in all three phases! He was very rideable in stadium and we loved the new course set by course designer Lauren Lindsay! Jumping double clear in both jumping phases kept us on our dressage score of 25.8 in the PT division!! Thank you to Lara Anderson and her team for putting on a great event!!

One thing I we all know about eventing is that it is a very humbling sport...while Pips had a great dressage test being so much more mature than her last time out, she way more relaxed, focused, and listening....she had a few moments in our jumping phases...but finished out on cross country feeling more brave and confident! Thank you Full Gallop Farm and your crew for putting on such a great schooling event! Always huge thanks to my mom for her support and Nicole Rose for being our cheering section today!!
