I've had an exciting day today. My whippet friends Ruby and Robbie have been staying with me for a week, and today we all had a trip out in the Yorkshire Dales. This photo was taken at Ribblehead Station. I have been teaching the whippets how to pose for photos, and I think they are learning quickly.

I'm feeling on top of the world today, well actually on top of the hay bales that are along the lane from my house. The weather is much cooler today so I had a stroll to the fields and back. I enjoyed leaping up onto these bales. I might be getting on a bit in years, but I am still pretty agile. It made mum smile. ❤🐾

I'm guarding my lovely shady den (mum's potting shed). I love it in here. Mum and dad have fitted some curtains to shade me and Marah when we have a snooze.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry that I haven't been keeping up with my page, but as you all know I've had a prolonged spell of ill health. At one point I had to be hospitalised, which was quite frightening. Covid 19 has put paid to a lot of my events, holidays and adventures, but I can't complain because at least I have a nice garden to play in. I do hope everyone is ok, and hope to share my exploits with you again.

I did a bit of a silly thing yesterday saying I was well, and looking forward to socialising with my friends again. Well, I'm not! (well that is) I've had to go back to the vet again today, as I was up all night with diarrhoea. I decided I wasn't going to eat or drink, so mum and dad had no option but to return to the vet. I've been given two injections, and have another tube of Promax. My friendly vet said I must have picked up another virus. If I'm not better overnight, I have to go back again for further treatment. I have to avoid contact with dogs at the moment to avoid spreading this virus. I'm feeling sad and disappointed, as I'm missing all my friends.

You might have noticed that I've been absent from Facebook for a while now, it's because I've been very poorly with a gastrointestinal infection. At my worst I wouldn't eat or drink, and my mum and dad had to give me water from a syringe. I had to have two trips to the vets for various injections and potions. The good news is that I have now recovered and will be able to get out and about and socialise again.

I'm supporting Sue, who faces eviction at her tea room at C**k Pit Farm. She has always made me and my houndie friends very welcome. Marah even got serenaded on her birthday.
As many of you know Sue has raised thousands of pounds for charity since she took over running the tea room, and part of that fundraising has involved the annual dog show which has been supported by many of my friends.

Gosh, where does the time go. I've just checked my Facebook profile and realised that I haven't posted anything on here since October. My mum and dad have been busy with boring things like house repairs. I've also had an injury, so haven't been able to get out and about like I normally do. The good news is that my leg is better now, so it's business as usual. I've posted a few of my favourite photos here. ❤
