Buster
Did you know osteoarthritis can affect up to 80% of dogs over age 8 years and potentially 35% of dogs of all ages. As the weather warms up we see them moving a bit better which is wonderful, however warm weather doesn't make arthritis go away, it just helps the symptoms, and arthritis hurts. If you think your dog may have arthritic changes, it might be prudent to bring him/her along for some hydrotherapy to get into the best shape before the cooler weather returns. There are so many benefits for dogs when we place them in the underwater treadmill, the buoyancy of the warm water, controlled enviroment and forward motion of the belt, helps dogs use their limbs in a less weight bearing fashion which helps open up the joint capsules and builds strength, stamina and muscle. Feel free to contact us if you want to know how this could help your dog. Just ask Buster! 🐾
