Opportunity for Intro to Scent Detection for 2025

Starts Feb 2025 in Abbotsford BC - Message for more details.

Open to new dogs, or handlers who wish to revisit their foundations.

This facility has access to multiple, various sized indoor spaces including carpet, hardwood, concrete floors as well as exterior areas.

I am a Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), CKC Scent Detection Judge and have titles in NACSW, SDDA, C-WAGS and CKC. Owner of the only SDDA Elite Champion/Grand Master Champion titled Whippet. I have also trained my students up to Master/Elite titles.

CopperSea Scent Detection has some availability for drop in Scent Detection classes in Abbotsford. Dogs must be on odour and not human aggressive, but other than that, it is open to any skill level.

I am a Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and have titles in NACSW, SDDA, C-WAGS and CKC. Owner of the only (and multiple) SDDA Elite titled Whippets. I have also trained my students up to Master/Elite titles.

I am an inclusive trainer and do not discriminate against any training methods used in the sport. Everyone is welcome. I can offer as much or as little guidance as requested. There are options to run blind in my classes, or run known hides and work on specific skills, as well as varied lesson plans.

Student spotlight and glow up

Maria and Kaiser

We started training Kaiser in Scent Detection when he was 10 weeks old. Fast forward to today, he is the First Min Pin to earn an SDDA Championship and Elite title.

They are both very special to me as my first non Whippet, fully trained by me student to get Elite!

And best of all… Searching is Kaiser’s everything and he loves to search.
