The pups are 13 weeks old today...wow has the world has changed in 13 weeks! And we do apologize if we caused the paper towel shortage with all the rolls we went through cleaning up after the pups.

Riggs requested a Zoom call to catch up with his brothers and sisters...we might have to see if we can make that happen.

Riggs doesn’t have anyone his size so he’s playing with the “big dogs” now. And it’s safe to say that while we miss the other pups, we are quite thankful they had all gone to their new homes before we ended up on lock down.

And then there were three...from the top, Riggs (ours), Raven (heading to Orlando) and Maddux (heading to Ponte Vedra). They are getting used to the main floor (and so are we). The other four are all doing great with their new families and we will post some pics soon.

Only a few days left with the whole gang...the first two - Sampson (gray) and Sophia (pink) - leave this weekend to head to their new family in KY.

The pups are 6 weeks old so it was time for a field trip to the vet. Gus and Stella made sure they were secure in the car first before letting us leave. We also found out how to make a grand entrance...walk in with a wagon full of puppies. Everyone in the waiting room and staff included had to come see them. The girls went first getting checked out by the vet and the boys actually fell asleep while waiting in the wagon.

We are going to really miss all these guys once they leave but we are excited and thankful for all their new families. Two are going to friends that live nearby here in Cobb County, two are going to family members in Ponte Vedra and Orlando, and two are going to a family friend up in Kentucky. And one is staying here (of course).

They are all getting big - near or over 13lbs already - and you can see the ears on a few starting to stand up slightly. Stella’s ears were already up when we got her at 6 weeks but Gus’ big ears took a bit longer to defy gravity.

Gus and Stella love playing soccer...well, Gus runs around with one in his mouth while Stella dribbles her ball around and plays fetch. The Jolly Ball soccer balls are awesome because they are indestructible.

Stella’s done nursing but the puppies aren’t getting the message yet so Gus is taking one for the team. He loves playing with them though and he’s keeping them in line too.

The pups are always excited to see Gus and Stella...pretty active bunch. They flock to Stella but she tells them pretty quickly that the kitchen is closed.

Coming downstairs in the morning to these faces makes it worth having to clean up all the “hazardous waste” that I was nice enough to crop out of this pic. One of the pups even managed to p**p ON the wall last night.

If a door opens in front of you, do you walk through it? Apparently not if you are a 5 week old puppy seeing the outside world for the first time (and it’s 35 degrees outside).

Gus and Stella put on a “home protection” clinic for the puppies. And their reaction was hilarious...5 ended up huddling in the corner, the other two were huddled in the crate.

Family pic...sort of. The puppies are simply too big to nurse when Stella is laying down so she stands now. And she never would have let Gus get this close before when she was nursing. They are nursing much less now as well and are eating solids more.

The puppies are five weeks old today. The most common question we get is if we are starting to see different personalities. Some are definitely busier than others but they all find some chill time and they cuddle up with different siblings at different times.

They definitely have some interesting sleeping positions at times. Plenty of beds and blankets to lay on but they have their own ideas of comfort at times.

Family moving day...the puppies seemed to grow out of the loft bedroom overnight. They are loving the extra room already and getting to look outside.
