It isn't just monitors that show intelligence.. small lizards do as well. I only got these wc Angolan rough scaled lizards not that long ago, first time tong feeding them and they learned quite quickly to wait for more at the entrance 😂

Left a live pink in with my Bipes, came back and it was decimated with him eating it from the insides. Sadly I accidentally spooked him so didn't get a proper photo. Pretty metal though! 🤘

One of the female Ichnotropis bivittata laid her eggs! 🦎 these eggs are super tiny and I hope they hatch 🤞 there isn't a ton of info on these guys so I'm kind of winging it on what I know

Another example of "fibbing" in Platysaurus sp.
The male Torquatus on the right normally has bright vivid colors and the same patterning as the one on the left. But ever since that big male has come into town and claimed dominance, it's time for the other male to take on more of a female resemblance 🤫
