I hate to end the year this way but I am going to have to postpone the Dothan Alabama Exotic Pet Expo. I have to wait on the venue to get back up with me. But, the new date will be announced soon.

I know not everyone that made the show is on this page but, I do have a question as far as the show goes for visitors. This was my first show running as a promoter. What did you as a guest like/dislike about how the show was ran or snack selection n stuff like that? Was there rude vendors that were not right or hateful(there is one at least that won’t be asked back)?

I can’t help the price of admission, is a pretty standard fee compared to other shows and it takes a lot to get everything set up from permits to building rental.

Right now, this is the table layout. Some things will definitely change pending where Hub City has to be placed. Waiting on a couple bird vendors to let me know a table count and hopefully I’ll be able to pull in some more small animal folks. Please get up with me (and beat me down in the nearest alleyway) if I missed your name/table.

The Dothan Alabama Exotic Pet Expo is on!!!!!! Finally got the contract, it will be June 25-26 at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds Premium building (building 3). Can’t believe this is happening. Thank you for pushing me Kenzie Shortt. It the biggest building so plenty of room for vendors so message me if you are interested in more information about setting up. Advertising will be set up very soon.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that the show is still coming together. We have everything except local licensing and a venue. If I can’t make the trip to get those taken care of I’m just going with the biggest venue just so we can get advertising going.

Alright guys, we are in work on bringing a exotic pet expo back to Dothan Alabama. From birds and reptiles to mammals and inverts. Really trying to bring something for everyone. Been speaking with venues but won’t say much about all that until we are 100% ready with the vendor list and licensing. It will be my first time coordinating a expo so I’m learnings bit but I am really trying to expand what the reptile show used to bring you guys. We should have vendors from AL,GA and FL. I’m super excited and hope to see you all there.
