When we truly go after something with a burning desire and the outcome isn’t what we wanted, we still win…even though it may not feel like a ‘win’ at the time. For those times when we feel like we’re failing, there is so much more going on behind the scenes of the universe that we don’t even realize. When we show up consistently, with a focused intent, the universe conspires with us and begins to present opportunities that we never imagined. When we say ‘yes’ to ourselves, and begin doing what we truly love to do, over time we begin cultivating habits that make us better at our craft/chosen field of interest. Those skills begin to stack up whether you’re doing a job you hate or chasing down a dream, so you might as well do the thing you love to do.
𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗿’𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
“Realize that sleeping on a futon when you 30 years old isn’t the worst thing. You know what’s worse, sleeping in a king bed next to a wife you’re not really in love with but for some reason you married, you have a couple of kids, and a job you hate. You’ll be laying there fantasizing about sleeping on a futon. There’s no risk when you go after a dream. There’s a tremendous amount of risk to ‘play it safe’.”
Allow yourself to realize the person that you could be, often we surprise even ourselves at our own potential when we show up for ourselves.
Stay Grateful!!
