I have been getting this question alot lately.
"Are the pups used to crates?"
Yes.

I do crate train (to an extent), BUT it is an open door policy about 95% of the time. It gets them used to being around/in/out of a crate. I only close the crates when I know I'll be gone for an extended period of time. For their safety, and my houses safety.

I start with a small sized crate and just place it inside their pen. Then we upgrade to bigger crates once they get bigger. I just attach the fence and bigger crates together and make them a "yard" to play in.

Mom is crate trained, open door policy, that is HER space and no one else's. When she gets tired or over stimulated she goes inside hers and stays with door open. She's feels safe.

As I understand some dogs don't like to be crated, some owners don't like to crate either. Completely understand. Im not crazy about it. Thats why i call it the open door policy. Its their bedroom, their space. I just like to acclimate pups for instances when they go to their forever home, it is not a drastic shock for them.

In my own opinion, I find this option very important when there are kids/ other animals in homes. Dogs can get overstimulated too and want their own space.

Met up with Nico's mom, so she could see the grandpups

Met up with yellow's forever family, His name is now Hank the Tank. Beyond fitting for him, The gentle giant. He sure loves naps and peoples laps. He is now settling in with all his kid siblings and family ❤️

Got Star's yearly eye exam done

I will have the available boys traveling with me to Akron and Canfield, Ohio Friday afternoon August 2nd as Star has her yearly eye exam at the Steel Valley Cluster. If there is anyone interested in a pup near Akron or PA.

Side note:
No pups will be going into the event and people interaction will be at very minimal, cause germs.

We have called him " Bean " around here, in reference to those jumping bean bugs. This boy has been jumping since he was born. He is the smaller of the crew, but the first to get over the little gate rail to go outside, by jumping over it, without any fear. He would excel as a good sporting dog, as he loves the attention and has the potential drive for sporting.

He is also a good family dog as he loves to cuddle with my daughter, and they play well together.

Yellow is the biggest boy out of the bunch. He is a very caring and cuddly puppy. He plays hard outside, but loves getting his beauty sleep too. Loves sitting and watching me while I work in the kitchen.

Should be easy to train, as he is patient and willing to learn. Very calm, cool, and attentive to what is going on around him.

PLUS, He loves taking naps along side his humans.

He is the most outdoorsy out of the crew. He likes being outside, especially in the evening. Plays in the kiddie pool (even when it's empty). Loves playing with his chuckit ball and cuddling.

We also like to play find the shed (deer antler) for funzies, as he is the most interested in finding and playing with them already.
