It's time to plan for my annual winter getaway in Brooksville, FL for the Florida Gulf Coast Clusters...
10 All-Breed shows, including 2 Designated Doberman Specialities AND 2 Concurrent Doberman Specialties, for a total of 12 shows and opportunities for majors!
Of course there are opportunities for majors, and some additional Specialities in other breeds as well.

Having finished 3 Dobermans in November, I have openings available for both dogs and bit*hes. But contact me quick as entries will start closing soon.

After Morning Shenanigans, everyone got Thanksgiving- a bite each of rotisserie chicken, sweet potato, roll, chicken gravy and a baby carrot. Thanksgiving for the dogs (every one of them on a different food) comes at home or in this case, on the road. Grateful for every one of them, their breeders and owners 🥰

I'm so appreciative of the Greater Ocala Dog Club for having this huge, permanent run available for the dogs to be able to burn off steam during multi-day and multi-week clusters. Their care for the physical and mental well-being of the dogs visiting here shows through in action, not just words.

Though hot outside, the first Concord NC cluster was crispy cool inside; and the ACP kids came through with some nice wins 🥰

"Chompy" Rottie kicked off the week with his third major (a five pointer this time) to finish. He also picked up a 5 pt major towards his Grand. He is now CH TJ'S Meadow Trump-stir Force Be Witham v G-Man's. Bred and owned by Tim & Julie Witham and Paul and Tina Walters.

"Vegas" Doberman, ADAMAS On The Edge Of My Seat ATT, snagged her second major win. Bred & owned by myself.

Not to be outdone by her sister Vegas, "Bree" ADAMAS Cutting Edge stepped up to be awarded her first major. Owned by Rose Madonna and myself.

"Felon" Boxer, GCH Baibrook's Mandatory Life Sentence, picked up 4 more points towards his GCHB. Owned by Kelli Neal. Bred by Karen Kaleta.

All responsible breeders know the heartache from dogs that they bred passing away. Handlers feel the same about dogs they have shown and developed special relationships with. Gabriel was one of those dogs for me. As soon as I heard he was sick, Linda Pancake and I were on the phone consulting. We spent another 2 hours talking after he passed.
I had this beautiful head study made as a surprise for Linda after Gabriel finished his Grand Championship. I'm so glad I have it to remember him by.
I'm missing you from afar, you handsome Goofball, but you'll always be in my heart ❤️

Successful week in Perry, and of course, good fun and food with friends!
"Tsavo" Doberman won her competive Open Black class all but one day, and picked up her first major.
"Thunder" Doberman won a hard earned Select among very tough competition.
"Chompy" Rottie earned his first major.
"Johnny" GWP earned a point (no picture) 😔
"Steel" GSP was Select Dog at the GSP of Atlanta specialty.

While she handled dogs at AKC shows, this "handler" was NOT an AKC Registered Handler, nor a member of the Professional Handlers Association. Few "handlers" are- around 85 PHA and 65 AKC RHP, and even fewer that are both. Of course there is never any guarantee, but these organizations hold their members to very high standards of care and conduct. As an AKC RHP, my RV and my home are inspected on an ongoing basis, I must make all of my rates and contracts publicly available, and I must carry Care/Custody/Control insurance. I am answerable to not only these organizations, but to my fellow member peers.
It's the rotten apples like this that taint all handlers, but know that those handlers of the AKC RHP and PHA go above and beyond every day to protect the dogs in their care.

A Radcliff woman has been charged in a case of animal cruelty after police say 21 dogs in her care were found dead in and around her home.
