A**l glands naturally express on their own. Humans also have them. Unless you're seeing signs such as butt scooting or excessive butt licking (AKA they're not expressing on their own) there is no need for someone to express them. Each time they're forced to be expressed, scar tissue will build, making it more and more difficult to express naturally.

Few Updates!
- As most of you know, I am a college student. Spring 2023 semester starts Jan 24, which drops my availability for grooming down to only weekends. NOTE: In the past I made exceptions for being able to trim nails on the week days, but due to too many people being late or no shows for the appointments, those are no longer available.
- If you haven't seen the new pricing list, please review it! After a year of grooming all your wonderful pets, I will be adopting the weight, breed, and temperament pricing guidelines. Some new additions (like my wonderful grooming table vs my floor) have already shown to be beneficial and time efficient.
- I have reoccurring and future client appointments scheduled up until April! I try to stay about 3 months ahead for the reoccurring appointments.
- My spring break is March 11-19, so I am looking at booking up that Monday (the 13th) to that Thursday (the 16th)! If you'd like to get on the schedule for that time frame please message me!
- I will be less available during the week days but will respond to messenger/texts/emails when I can!
- Lastly, thank you all for referring your family and friends to me, as well as sharing your furry family members! Even the very difficult ones (;

I like big doodles and I cannot lie. "Bear" came to me for grooming when she was a wee pup, but she finally grew into her long legs!
Bear's two sisters "Shadow" and "Snoopy" enjoyed a spa day also 💕

"June" during her pre-groom, pre-bath brushing, post bath before blow dry, and after grooming! Getting the Queen Package really took it out of this old lady 💕 took two hours! She took a well deserved nap afterwards.

June bug has some hip issues, so she prefers to sit for her grooms. She was such a good troop!

These dog muffs help quite a bit with the blow drying part of grooming as some dogs are extra sensitive to loud noises. Miss "Xena" here was the perfect model for me 🥰

Let me preface this by saying the owner had a regular groomer who unfortunately could no longer see them, and she even tried shaving herself. Owner specifically said "I want her comfortable so do what you need to".

Matted doodles: doodles are HIGHLY prone to matting. I worked on this girl Thursday, and while obviously a very happy and loved pup, her coat needs quickly got away from her owner. If mats progress for too long, the coat can become pelted, such as in the photo I've attached mid groom. Shedding and friction contribute to mats, so watch the spots like behind the ears, where the collar sits, inner legs, tail, etc.
