Nugget: 24 hours later
And to start out thanksgiving week with things I am thankful for, Nuggets pathology came back today and she’s officially cancer free again!
Nugget 4 - Cancer 0
UPDATE: Nugget, in true warrior fashion, sailed through the surgery and entertained the staff at Lake Street Animal Hospital with her antics. I heard she showed off her mad agility skills by hopping up on the x-ray table before they could lower it and then layed down ready to go. She's such a character!
Her surgery so far has been the best case scenario we had prayed for. She had 3 tumors, one we already knew was a mast cell tumor (cancer) and the other 2 were being tested while under. They ended up being lipomas and did not require surgery, so just one needed to be removed. So far, it appears that one was like her 3 previous cancerous tumors, in that it was subcutaneous and not attached to the skin or muscle. That is the very best news for mast cell cancer. We have to wait for pathology to come back to confirm if she is once again cancer free. Nugget, my family and I can't thank you all enough for your prayers, good vibes and positive thoughts.

On a more serious note today, my beautiful and sweet girl, the hostess with the mostest to all my boarders, Ms. Nugget, needs all the prayers , positive thoughts, good vibes sent out in the universe, whatever works for you that you can send. I believe in the power of unity.
She is having her 4th cancer surgery today and we are praying she can once again kick cancers butt! Thank you! I will update when I know things. 🙏🏻
