is a foster based rescue located in Binghamton, NY. We are made up of fosters and volunteers who not only generously give their time but give of themselves. It is together through the collaboration of dedicated volunteers that we rescue dogs in NYC as well as from other states that use gas chambers for euthanasia. The majority of dogs we rescue are pit bulls but we do rescue all breeds. We are in

dire need of foster homes in NYC, Long Island, Upstate NY, NJ, CT, PA, Vermont, Mass, NH, and Georgia. If you would like to help, foster or volunteer, please contact us at [email protected]

Rockwool is doing great at her upstate NY foster home. Rockwoll is one of the pups who came to us from Animal Care and Control, after being found abandoned with several other pups/dogs. She is doing well learning her puppy basics and has alot of that young fun energy - she would be great with another dog to play with, or an active family to love. Rockwool is crate trained, good with other dogs, kids and cats. Like any young pup, she will need to continue to work on her training since she is still learning, to make her the bestest furry family member she can be!
Rockwoll is now about 6 months old, spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and ready to go. Please hit the arrow to help us find her people!

George recently traveled up north from a GA rescue partner and is now with a foster family in upstate NY. We believe he is a Jack Russell mix and is great with everyone and everything. He is a happy, spunky little pup who loves to play.

George won't get too big; he is currently under 20 lbs and 5 months old. He is working on his basics and housebreaking, and he is already neutered with age-appropriate vaccines. Please help us find George his forever family!

Pumice recently transitioned to a new foster home in upstate NY, and he is doing fantastic! Pumice is one of the pups who came to us from Animal Care and Control after being found abandoned with several other pups and dogs. When he arrived, he was skinny and nervous, but after a few weeks, he has come out of his shell and is full of spunky puppy energy.

He is crate trained and currently working on his puppy basics. He gets along well with other dogs, kids, and cats, but he will need to continue working on his training since he is still young and learning to become the best furry family member he can be!

Pumice is now about 6 months old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go. Please help us find his forever family by sharing his story! 🐾❤️

December 3rd is GivingTuesday, a day created in 2012 with a simple idea: to encourage people to do good and help others. If possible, we ask that you try to spend just a little less on that day so that you can give a small amount to us. That’s all we ask. If enough people contribute a little, we can get through this challenging time.
Despite our successful year of adoptions, our bank account is dwindling. Rescues are closing left and right, and we do not want to become a statistic. We work tirelessly every day to provide our dogs with the best care, find them the best homes, and offer our PMAR family and adopters the best support we can.
We know the economy is tough, and it’s evident everywhere you look. But the impact is especially visible with the animals. Shelters are packed, and the need is greater than ever.
While we are immensely grateful to our community of supporters for helping us survive this long, we are still struggling and unfortunately moving backward in terms of our expenses versus our donations. There was a time when adoption fees primarily sustained rescues. Yes, we did fundraisers, and people donated much more, but it’s not like that anymore.
We don't know how much longer we can sustain this trend, but we can’t stop saving animals. Our work is too important, so we need to find a way to get through this.
If you’re not in a position to donate, you can still help by sharing our campaign with others who might want to help too.
Somehow, we always find a way to make it through for the benefit of those precious souls. Sometimes it almost seems impossible, and we look back and wonder how we managed. Then we quickly remember: our miracle is you!

Peanut Butter Update
Day 323 in Foster
Day 342 since she was left to die chained to a tree in a highway.

Reflecting on the people I have in my life more often because of Peanut Butter. People from my town who sent her bones and goodies (yesterday), or those who dropped off food and sweaters when she got her last year, skinny and cold. People have offered to make her coats (I’m terrible at getting her measurements bc she won’t hold still and then I forget bc we play). The lovely ladies who have left newspaper at my door for almost a year. My friends who have gathered and dropped off blankets like they are Fairy Godmothers of chilly pitbulls. My neighbors who come out to greet her with hugs bc she loves them.
I have even spoken to the woman who doubled back on Christmas Eve to go save her on a cold highway.
People have been amazing.
And People LOVE her.

Now, I need to meet one more person.
Her Person.
Her Forever Person.

Thank you for the shares and the encouragement…we just need that one person to see her and feel it. That she is theirs.

PB needs to be an only pet, is about 4.5 years old and is fostered in NJ.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our volunteers, fosters, adopters, followers, friends and families! It has been a very long year but we're not done yet and we want to thank everybody for their dedication to helping us continue our journey and mission to saving the lives of as many dogs and cats we can, and to find them the perfect forever home. That is what we are here for nothing more nothing less. All of your shares and donations have helped us care for so many animals this year and our adoption count is already over what it was last year. In this day and age with so many problems going on we are grateful. Stanley update!

Update on Stanley! Stanley went in Thursday for removal of some cancerous growths. Once he was checked out it was determined that there were 6 growths to be removed as well as his top canines as one was cracked and the other damaged. That is ALOT for a 10 yr old dog to go through, but he was a trooper and doing well in recovery.
