Hocus was supposed to have her MRI on Monday that we have been waiting for, but they had us fasting her too long, they didn't think she was so small and because of that her blood sugar was way down. So now TOMORROW is the day. We have to get her up early for a little breakfast Wednesday morning and bring her back for an 8am appointment. They did say that they see something on with one of her vertebrae, so we are hopeful after speaking with the vet that this is something she can recover from. We still have time to raise some more funds, to help cover this procedure.

Kane, formerly known as Fruity Pebbles from Queens Animal Care & Control, has just arrived at his new foster home in Upstate NY this past weekend and is settling in. When Kane was found, he was abandoned in an apartment, in a crate stacked on top of his housemate's crate, both without bottom trays, food, or water.

We haven't weighed him recently, but he's definitely gained a few pounds since coming to us. He is always on the move, takes time to settle, and had no previous training (behavioral or potty). Now, with his new foster home, we are focusing on his training and routines to help him become the sweet boy we know he is.

He still needs to gain more weight and learn his basics before he's ready for adoption, but that just means we have more time to love this little velvety boy.

Sweet mama Trina was found abandoned on the streets of Georgia with her three pups. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person found them and brought them to a shelter, and we were asked to help. Now, here we are!
Mama Trina is currently with a temporary foster in Binghamton, NY, settling in and getting ready to find a long-term foster or forever family to call her own. She is a young girl who is good with other dogs and kids, unknown with cats, and not good with chickens. She will continue to be evaluated as we go.
She is already spayed and vetted with age-appropriate vaccines.

Blossom and her siblings were found in a ditch on the side of the road in NC by a good Samaritan and are now in a foster home there. Soon, they will be heading up north to Binghamton to find their forever families! During their time in foster care, they’ve been getting good food, fresh water, and lots of love.

Blossom is a bit shyer than her siblings and takes some time to warm up. We feel she would do well with kids aged 5/6+, as she is afraid of younger children. We suspect she may have been abused before coming to us, as the other pups are fine. Once Blossom warms up, she is sweet and snuggly. She is good with other dogs, and though she hasn't met any cats yet, we believe she would acclimate well to a household with kitties at this age. She will need to continue learning her puppy basics and will be ready to go once she comes up.

Update on Stanley! Stanley went in Thursday for removal of some cancerous growths. Once he was checked out it was determined that there were 6 growths to be removed as well as his top canines as one was cracked and the other damaged. That is ALOT for a 10 yr old dog to go through, but he was a trooper and doing well in recovery.

We briefly introduced you to Champ this past Friday - but please lets officially welcome this huk - Champ from MACC (Manhatten Animal Care and Control) This new ACC survivor is under 3 years old and is said to be good with dogs. We've observed that he's also good with cats and kids. He's a truly good boy who was surrendered to the shelter, and we are thrilled to have been able to rescue him and help him start a new chapter of his life. He is good in the car and getting used to his new routines and crate training at his Binghamton NY foster home. Please share him to help him find his people!

Another Happy Tail for one of our "Spooky Pups"! Oogie and her siblings were rescued from a shelter after a good Samaritan found them being given away on the sidewalk. They arrived severely underweight, with urine burns and mange. After weeks of intensive care, we are so proud of the healthy, happy puppies they've become.
