Well as the weather continues to keep spring from us … I thought I would give an update on how things are going around here ❤️🐴
I have my two tip horses headed to their home at the end of the month . I will miss their handsome faces 😊
We took in walnut permanently. Since bugs left Rosie the resident mare needed a friend and they love each other . And now my oldest son has his pony he has been saving up for ❤️
I will be back at the barn full time starting in June and while I have a few things in the works … I would like to open up my training schedule again . Only taking a limited amount of horses … so if interested now would be the perfect time to get on the list!
Renegade was having a great time with the pool noodles . Caught him just in time with my camera 🥰
Dancer has come out of his shell 100% with r+ work ( positive reinforcement) . Because I was so sick the majority of the time they have been with me I worked on target trianing with dancer and renegade . Dancer was the most snorty and reactive initially and now is the most friendly and brave ❤️
I miss my miss fancy pants everyday ❤️🥺 she was the most gentle with the boys . Aiden was only 4 in this video . She took care of her boys like they were her own babies . Lots of wonderful memories ❤️🌸

This handsome boy leaves in just a couple days so wanted to make sure he was ready to load up ❤️😊 we worked on following me in and backing up. He did is solid three times 🤩 so asked him to do it all on his own and he did 🥳❤️
Mr. Marshmallow is still here ❤️ my last outside training horse for a bit while I figure out my health and other things .
He is an amazing just coming 3 yr old warm springs reservation gelding . He has made huge progress from the horse who would kick at ropes and took me 20 min to get a halter on in the stall. Now he walks up to me to be caught from the field ❤️ he is ready for his first rides and can’t wait for him to continue to blossom once he goes home ❤️🐴
Well with all my time spent at urgent care and getting tests the last few weeks . I have the official diagnosis of yes something is def wrong . No we don’t know what 🤦♀️ so more tests. Now waiting last of results 🤕.
So poor miss molly has been just hanging out . But today she happily walked right up into the trailer . Hung out and ate her grain and some alfalfa and then calmly walked off like it was no big thing ❤️🐴 as long as weather cooperates she will travel to her new training home to hopefully find her forever home . ❤️
Molly would love to find her person ❤️🐴 if you have any interest in her at all please don’t hesitate to ask any questions 😊

Molly is a very sweet sensitive mare who needs her own person to grow with ❤️ no training fee at this time available for reassignment to approved home .
Phew 😅 it’s been a crazy past few days . But the boys as I refer to them are settling in well ❤️ I am getting good yield and face up at liberty and really good touches with the pole . I anticipate tags off and halters on soon 🤩
In other not so great news Molly has had quite the regression and managed to get me off my feet and a bit injured today . So she is getting some help from amazing fellow trainers this coming week and hopefully we can help Molly through this set back . My goal for her is to be safe and happy for her new home ❤️🐴
Well I got the bad germs 🦠🦠I haven’t been that sick in many years and def top 3 worst 😣 miss Molly sat Friday through Monday night . I Finally felt up to doing bare minimum Monday night . I was able to walk right in scratch , halter and lead Molly into the barn and right into the stall ❤️ she stayed in the stall over night for the first time .she didn’t panic but she didn’t settle . She obviously paced and didn’t drink a drop of her nice clean water 💦 so we will practice more. And try a big tub instead of buckets . Today we were able to go through all we know so far and then carried the saddle for the first time ❤️ and then at the end of our session I got yawns for the first time 🥰 50 days to go and we just might make it there 🙌
Well I ended up catching the bad germs 🦠 from my kiddos . 🥵 I managed to fight through for some time with Molly this morning. Tuesday I spent a couple hours with her over the course of the day after she decided that the rear turn bolt was a good way to deal with stress. This is so dangerous for her and me . I absolutely do not let my mustangs ever learn that they can do that . So I spent the time it took to get her back to me soft and thinking . 😌 I had to switch out for my super long rope and gloves to accomplish it but by the end we were back to soft calm circles on the line . Then bam I got so sick that night and have been since 🤒 but today I we accomplished free lunging ( just started this as she has been so scared of me I didn’t want her to feel like was chasing her ) , we tried out the bare back pad for the first time ❤️, and got some soft calm gives of front feet 👏, and ended by walking in the barn and trying out what a stall is like ! I was really happy she was so willing to even go two feet in 🎉 small wins but we are def headed in the right direction ❤️🐴
Hard to see her so broken 😭😭❤️🩹 doing what I can to give her some relief . She is actually feeling better hard to guess that by how bad she still is but the pain is less now ❤️
This was last night 😊❤️ making some great progress 🎉
Miss Molly 34 days in and we are making some amazing progress finally ❤️ I can brush her , lead , lunge , and halter easily in the arena . She is finally becoming curious and friendly rather than terrified and defensive . It’s been a lot of deep thought on my end . Constantly trying to make sure I’m doing what is in her best interest while not just giving up 😞 each day is a new day and I’m thankful for this opportunity to help this mare in the domestic world to be brave , trusting and curious 🐴💕 today she chose to come sniff my phone and see if it was food 😅
I have yet to have a mustang in my life who did not live to play in water ❤️ this is sage a ~ 3 ish yr old stinkingwater HMA mare that has been with me for a month . She initially would run away even if a hose was turned out outside her pasture . We have been working on curiosity over fear and she has now decided the hose is fun 😂🥰💦
I still have 3 horses in training right now plus miss Molly my competition mustang , and my mare bugs who is back with me and going through some diagnosis and rehab for a hind end issue 😅 ( resident mare Rosie is here too and I hope to get her going next month but also needs some rehab ) Christmas break gives my oldest the chance to help me with the horses like he did all summer ❤️🐴 walnut is his favorite 🤩 I’m so so excited for the new year 🎉
