Oh Charlie 💙 he is such a special boy to me. I actually bred Charlie, he went on to become my first Champion and has been a great producer bother here and in europe. These days Charlie lives a peaceful life (well as peaceful as possible with a noisy housemate schnauzer 😂) but i still enjoy to make him look adorable which i think he does in this short pet trim and donut beard 😀

Here is Hank thinking about taking a snooze whilst I brush out all his loose fur.

I want to say thank you to all my wonderful clients who have been so patient of late. Between an episode of food poisoning last Friday (self inflicted I'm afraid) and trying to keep up with my mums very busy hospital schedule, it's left me somewhat frazzled 😵‍💫 of late and I've made a few scheduling errors. For those, I am very sorry and am so grateful for you all being so gracious with me.

My mum started her Chemotherapy treatment 2 and a bit weeks ago at Chase Farm Hospital. She will have to go fortnightly on a Tuesday and this does mean I need to rearrange some morning Tuesday apply to allow me to get to Engield for 9:30.

Please don't hesitate to remind me if I haven't booked a next appointment for you, my head is like a sieve at the moment.
Anyway, have a lovely weekend everyone 😊

In contrast to yesterday's unhappy post i wanted to turn it around. The lovely Hank here looks how I feel. Why you might ask? Well, today I have had a client for the 2nd time this month cancel their dogs groom on the day of the appointment. No big deal right? Wrong! I have now lost £150 this month from this 1 client which leaves me very unhappy and rather stressed. I don't have a 2nd home in the south of France, I don't drive around in high end cars....when I don't get paid it directly affects my income, my ability to pay my bills, put food on my table and care for my dogs.
This cannot continue and if I have another incidence like this I will have no option but to charge people upfront at the time of booking. That way if people would rather go out for the day or cancel last minute I am still paid for the time reserved for your pet in my diary.

I LOVE ❤️ Lola ❤️ she is the sweetest, sassiest little lady i know. She loves to get dirty down in Devon but scrubs up like a princess and she is honestly one of my favourite girls to groom because she smiles at me any time I comb her face with a twinkle in her eye.

Well, by some miracle, I've made it through to the last working day of the year. I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported my business. As many of you know, I have moved back in August and I have had to make the difficult decision to let some further away clients go. It was not an easy one and I will miss the dogs and their owners tremendously. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for 2025.

Just wanted to hop on and say a big thank you to all my clients who have had to be cancelled so far. Unfortunately it seems I've bagged myself this new strain of covid and I can't lie it's absolutely kicking my butt. Obviously I don't want to give this to anyone so until I'm testing negative I am having to cancel and just play each day by ear. Thanks for everyone's patience and I promise I'll have everyone rebooked as soon as I can.
