Every year on Easter, our kids go on a scavenger hunt to find their baskets. They have eggs that are hidden throughout the house with clues that send them to the next location/egg. This year, Remi was anxious to get in on the fun! She followed everywhere the kids went and made sure to keep watch on the eggs! Here is a photo I caught of her while in action π€πΎππ

Been working on some commands with Snuggles while she spends time here awaiting her furever family to come along. She is such a smart little girl! She already knows sit, come and shake. I think the cheerios might be the motivating factor there! Hopefully I can catch a video of her when I have extra hands here to help me. Once we finished with some training time, we went outside to enjoy some sunshine and flowers. What a beautiful day!

We enjoyed some extra playtime outside today. Boots spent more time chasing the ball and "occasionally" bringing it back to get it thrown again. π€ͺ Snuggles spent some time running around the play yard chasing π that were flying around. They heard a βοΈ but never could find it π€ and they were looking for the π that kept mooing. Much fun was had. They played hard and finally just had to have some rest time. πΎππΎ

Marley & Sadie's Winter Wonderland Litter - 7 Week Old Photoshoot. They are growing so fast and learning so many new things! They love chew toys and chasing each other around. They also love to carry on conversations via puppy style "barking" and are amused when we bark back! π They are anxiously awaiting to meet their new families soon! π πΎπ

How we spend our π§ day .... lots of puppy play time! Getting crates setup for our next training portion before they head off to their new homes. They have gotten the hang of using the grass potty trays, have been introduced to a slip lead (leash) and starting tonight, we will start introducing the crates for them to sleep in. Hopefully all will go well and this will help make the transitions to their forever homes a little easier.
Today is a big day for the Winter Wonderland litter - their first vet visit and first set of puppy shots! They did good on their trip to the vet and now are awaiting to meet the vet and have their exams/shots.

Have to give a shout out to my amazing hubby! A breeders work is never done and things must get done in both good and bad weather. Last night the pups decided that the grass litter trays would make a great toy and decided to pull them apart. This ended up making a huge mess and we had to get them cleaned and rotate out with some others. My hubby stepped in and was out washing the trays in the rain/sleet so we would have clean ones when needed later today. Just like with kids, it takes a village and I'm pretty proud of my village! ππΎπ
The pups were busy running back and forth today as I was cleaning their play area and potty area. They love pulling on pant legs now and have learned that's the perfect way to distract me from cleaning! πΎπ€ͺπΎ We enjoyed some time playing with some new toys. They are fascinated with the squeaky toy and it causes some head tilts with each squeak! π€πΆ Such a fun group of pups!

Marley & Sadie's Winter Wonderland Litter - 5 Week Old Photoshoot. They are growing so fast! We have mastered puppy mush and moved on to just soaked kibble now. They are getting the hang of the grass potty trays, so very few accidents to clean up now. They are more aware of what is going on around them and so eager to learn! π πΎπ
