Yesterday Missy had an appointment for grooming at a store that I felt very uneasy about and will not share the details of the business. I felt uneasy about their compassion levels with the puppy itself, they showed compassion to me but only as business transaction. When I returned I was informed she bit them, naturally I said oh dear that’s bad but I had the ability to process and think and after getting to the counter and being charged 50 for a 2lb puppy that I love and cherish, the money meant nothing it was all about the dog but I expressed my concerns to the manager of lack of compassion in the grooming salon by Their manager and leader and the lack of care and patience with a 12 week old puppy necessary she came out of that 40 minutes terrified and trembling and she already knows that clippers and razors aren’t going to hurt her but now she is slightly afraid of different things. The store manager has assured me she will be watching the grooming salon more often and check ins on their unconpassionate manipulative groomer ( the only groomer is the manager) but the store manager was the one I expressed everything to with only knowing she was just a manager), I will not be taking my puppy in for grooming any longer there but I will shop with them because I have been given Hope by a very good manager in my opinion of what’s right and the managers full discretion of what she does as consequences I did not even say she should be fired because people need that chance that ability that option to fix mistakes and if you get rid of them in a corporation they will never learn they’ll continue to disrespect relationships with animals or in other service businesses they could neglect the humans. NEGLECT AND ABUSE IS REAL PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU SIGN IN THE SALON THEIR INPATIENCE CAUSES INJURYS NOT JUST THE ANIMAL. She only acted out of aggression when she was fed up with her treatment and compassion levels and was rushed because from the beginning the situation was rushed, and I understand the situation but they should have refused service and said it would be too much but no money money money. Like seriously I’m so angry that my pet was treated so poorly by someone who would in our minds show compassion and love for their job and for their enjoyment of animals..THEY ARE NOT TOYS THEY ARE RESPONSIBILITY AND I CAN ADMIT I don’t have the time and responsibility because I make that in my mind I make myself run around like a chicken with my head cut off(southern jokes) but seriously this has me terrified of other animals treatment in corporate grooming salons!!
