HOW TO STOP YOUR DOG FROM BARKING
Barking is a natural way for dogs to communicate. Barking may have a natural cause: the animal is sick or reacting to a certain stimulus. However, frequent unexplained barking may be the result of improper training. There could be several reasons why your dog is barking too much. The dog may bark while playing, when in danger or because of anxiety, to warn an opponent, when guarding its territory or out of boredom. Some dogs bark because they're in pain or have another health issue.
The best way to prevent barking in the first place is to try and remove any potential sources of the behavior. Consult your veterinarian to address any health conditions.
WHAT NOT TO DO?
✔️Never yell at your dog;
✔️Avoid punishments like shock collar;
✔️Don't let your dog bark constantly when it's outside, regardless of the reason. Teach your dog the "Quiet" command, or switch his attention to something more interesting, or try to avoid a stimulus that causes barking.
