These animals require time and a quiet place to heal, physically and emotionally.

It’s that time of year again – the Holidays and the end of 2020 are upon us. This year has been one of the most challenging years of our lifetimes - a viral pandemic, so much sadness, so many lives lost, hurricanes, tornedos, floods and all the wildfires - I cannot help but to be so happy to see this year is ending! I am hoping and wishing 2021 brings us peace, unity, happiness, kindness and respect for all living beings! Because of COVID-19 and the declining economy, our sanctuary has received vastly fewer donations. We’ve had to be very creative for our rescues to receive the veterinary care, medication and food they need and deserve. But creativity can ONLY go so far and NOW we need your HELP more than ever to keep our sanctuary going; to care for our dogs and cats who call it home; to be able to help others at risk. Still, this is the special time of the year to celebrate with family and friends; the time for giving and receiving; the time to be generous and help the less fortunate in great need of a helping hand. It is the season to make a difference in the lives of so many homeless creatures. You have the power to make the lives of these innocents who huddle in the shadows in the cold of the winter brighter, better and safer. CARE so appreciates your help and generosity as we carry on the fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life.
