Fun scent work weekend in Illinois!

Tova was a rockstar for me. She is over scent work and finds no value in it anymore but is working for me. She started the weekend needing 3 Q's to finish her overall master title. On Saturday she earned her final container Q to finish her master container title!! ❤️❤️. I would have been overjoyed to just get this but today she went in and earned her second master interior Q!! 💚💚💚. Thanks to our instructor Misty for helping come up with ideas to keep her motivated!

Derby is working on his excellent elite titles but quickly told me he does NOT want to hunt in heat anymore at 12 yrs of age. Noted, he will only hunt in cool and cold months from now on. He can have whatever he wants at 12 yrs old! He still managed to earn some Qs despite his dislike of the weather. He thought the best part of the weekend was the pool the trial provided for dogs and often laid in it. 🥵🥵🏊

Tova's adopted daughter, Iggy, was on fire this weekend earning MANY Qs and finishing her overall advanced title. Woot woot! 🎉🎉

A fantastic weekend of barn hunt!! Lots of Qs and even more laughs this weekend.

Peter and Kim finished their RATM title this weekend and earned judge's choice for their positive teamwork!
Keona and Kim earned more Q's towards their RATCH

Jennifer and Tova went 3/4 in Master leaving one leg needed for their RATCHX7. They also finished their CZ8PB (platinum bronze) title!

Dan and Mimi ended the weekend needing 1 single Q towards their RATM!

Christan and Mali earned more legs towards their RATCH!

Christan and Jesko earned their RATN title!

Misty and Iggy earned Q's towards their senior title!

Avery and Valentino earned their first barn hunt leg and had great enthusiasm looking through the tunnel together the rest of their runs.

Mischief might be primarily standard schnauzers and Lowchen but we have a great variety of extended family including border terriers, westies, beagles and American foxhounds to name a few.

Scent work fun was had by all!

Mary ran Rogue and AnnE! Rogue got an advanced buried Q. AnnE got a Q novice exterior, advanced interior and advanced container!

Kim and Keona had a great weekend earning lots of Qs and finishing her advanced exterior elite title.

Avery traded her standard for her beagle and participated in her first scent work trial! She and T-Money went 5/6 finishing their novice container title.

Christan and Jesco were the stars of the weekend finishing their overall novice title earning 11 out of 12 Qs and getting High in Novice on Saturday!

Jennifer was driving back from a week on the beach and you already saw how the Lowchen part did.

Hedwig the little lion played scentwork this weekend in Kansas City and came away with a new element title, 6 q's and 3 placements!! I'm so happy with her work ethic and joy to be out doing the things she loves!!

If you have followed Mischief Standard Schnauzers at all, you know while I like conformation, I LOVE performance. Performance is my heart. Thankfully Avery loves the conformation part of things!

So....to brag...Today Lura and Beau earned their CDX in grand style with 2 first places! If you know obedience...this isn't a simple task. I'm just so proud and thrilled!!!

Beau is from my Lost Boys litter that has produced some fantastic conformation AND performance dogs. Beau's brother Rogue will be at the Rally Nationals next month!

Another fun day at Purina!

Avery and Willie were second in their class and RWD.
Sasha and Captain won their class.

We did receive some very nice compliments on these boys from a respected handler that didn't need to stop and compliment them but did. That means a lot to Avery and I and our program.

The BIG winner today even though no points was Avery and Iggy (Iggy is Tova's adopted child and she takes that seriously). Out of 10 class girls, Avery and Iggy were RWB. That is a huge entry of nice border terriers and a nice win even if there are no points. Iggy has a great future in the ring with Avery.

Some of Mischief is at Purina farms this weekend and having a great time. In Standard schnauzers Avery and Willie won their bred by class, WD and then went on to win Best of Breed over a special! This will be his second major.

Sasha made her ring debut with Captain and they won their class. Sasha and EmmaLynn are doing a great job learning how to show dogs but it is a lot different than showing goats! They are also doing a FANTASTIC job on his coat.

Willie and Captain are Oompa Loompas from the Wonka litter from Redford x AnnE. 9 mths old!

Avery showed Iggy the Border Terrier and they looked fantastic in some very tough competition!

Today in Bloomington, IL, it was the Prairieland Standard Schnauzer Club specialty! River and Sunny won their class again but didn't go any further. They looked great and we are thrilled to get a piece of the points one day. Winning the Heathland Standard Schnauzer Club supported entry day is even better since we are members of the club!

River just needs 2 single points to finish and those will come soon enough!

Congratulations to the breed winner today. Will let them announce but I had a feeling they would do well today!!
