Little Leo was scratched tight under his eye when he was younger and had to have surgery & stitches and wear a cone for 14 days😢. He was a trooper and did amazing. He’s 14 weeks old, is crate trained and working on potty training (he’s doing amazing).

I know I have posted videos of our dogs doing the “place” command in the past but this is the first time everyone is out and notice no one is on a tie-back! Some of the dogs have a leash on in case they decide to break command but we are making progress to being able to fully off leash trust the entire pack! No more gates. No more barriers. No more rushing the front door. 🙌 AND it’s currently thunder-storming and notice how all the dogs are calm and cool. If you have a dog who’s afraid of storms (and/or fireworks) the place command is an excellent command for state of mind benefits. It helps them be able to relax during a stressful moment, like loud noises going off around them.

Just another Sunday night here at AFK! All the dogs (minus the newest member, Chanel) are learning or have learned “place” with distance and duration. It’s also my personal best for # of dogs on place at one time!! 🐾❤️🐾❤️
